Could someone explain to me Arcane aim?
Can someone explain how it works? What does the buff that appears do? Mine's only lvl 5 so it should work 25% of the time... but I see the buff icon after every few hits o_O.
And how do you know how many of these are stacked on mobs?
Thanks.

There is no counter. One way I know how many times it has stacked is the damage I do. It can only stack 5 times, and I know the range I would hit once it has stacked 5 times.

If you're using a muti-hit skill, that 25% is bound to be 100% for Arcane Aim activation. You shouldn't be surprised; it's not like a buff with a 100 second cooldown that only works 25% of the time.
Also, to answer your question.. if you see the arcane aim buff icon, the buff is activated until it dies out. The buff activates at a chance whenever you hit something multiple times. The buff that appears amplifies your magic damage and that Damage will increase by 3% with 25% probability up to 5 times. (Since your skill is at level 5.)

Since when did I say you were guaranteed to get 1 activation every 4 hits? I was saying it wasn't abnormal for you to activate the buff that often.
Theorectically , 25% means every 4 hits. Why are you surprised?
I dont play mages but i think when you attack an enemy you ignore a bit of their defence. When you attack an enemy more than 3 times , all of the damage dealt to it will increase. Damage increase effect will be based on rates. You can accumulate it up to 5 times
