Why does everyone hate the new Updates?
Everyone's complaining about how Maplestory just cares about money when making these new updates, even though some actually make sense. Either a revamp or a nerf is needed, and if a nerf was set in place, everyone would complain. And the extra line of potential is probably going to let Nexon make lots of money, but if you don't like it, simple, just stick with whatever potentials you have. If Maplestory didn't keep adding new content, everyone would rage. So stop complaining, and accept the changes.

Because the new content is super boring... I'd rather have them introduce something like a new mini game than get a 10~20% buff on my skills
People hate the new updates that are completely based on cash shop because it widens the gap between the rich and the poor.
It's getting ridiculous and you really can't expect someone to sit back and ignore the overwhelming benefits of being an Nx user.
If you say to just ignore those people or simply to not care about them; that's asking someone to be extremely irrational considering we are playing a MMORPG & one of the major concepts is to interact with people and compete with them.
There are better things Nexon could be doing instead of pumping out cash shop updates; there is an entire list of known issues that just seems to grow and grow with every new patch. For a company that deems itself so sucessful I don't think its good enough just to list the issues and fix them as they please.

People could've argued that pirates were a ripoff of warriors and bandits back during it's release.

A small chunk of the update is more than welcome (skill changes, new content, new classes), it's just the extra edge cash users get that irritates the vast majority of the player base (Extra line of potential, potential locks, cash scroll items). The strong get stronger, while the weak stay weak.
I'm quite excited for my Hyper Skills.
Look at the content that was created before big bang. Fun content were made. Now content are the same, unoriginal and boring.
Only a few stuff now are cool
