Well obviously the game is not dead since for one this forum is still existing, and two the game is still being played by a alright amount of players. The population is really low but it's not dead, and probably won't die anytime soon. As long as Nexon is making money(which they are) they will continue to pump out updates and keep the game up. At least for a few more years.

ya i came back after finishing school, its surprising to see so many young kids and how boring it is really, theres nothing thats the same as it was maybe a few years ago, it just changed all of a sudden, even the events suck.. coming from a 10 year vet

I've been playing since '07. It's definitely decreased in population a lot. We need just one giant world, the rest of maplestory needs to experience @xTagg in their world, he's soooooo cool.

It not like before when fm was all crowded with shops and shoppers. 1 million seems a lot back then...These days 1b is like 2 mesos back in the days.

Honestly, I've been playing for around 6-7 years and the game is decreasing in population, It's becoming harder to merch and buy things in the fm entrance. This game in my opinion is becoming like the real world. Where the rich are successful and the poor rot away. It's not the game it used to be however when nexon decides to close down the game, that's when it will be dead.

There are definitely still vets playing. Not sure what you mean by "veteran player" but I've been on/off for 7~8 years. There aren't that many who are regular players though...maple gets boring, too much pay2win and social aspect is almost completely gone

Depends, it isn't at the size it used to be but considering
I can't even get an fm 6 or lower spot, I can say it isn't.

I will never understand why people say things like "wow been gone so long" yet looking at the avatar or class you can tell it hasnt been that long lol
