Kinda stuck with F/p
Hi guys!
I just got my F/P to 4th job and I really enjoy the strategy behind it - it's a very interesting class!
My problem is I'm just not sure what to DO for bossing etc. My range isn't super awesome so I get that I won't be doing much damage (I made F/P because I'm not super funded). I just don't really know what I should be doing with it in terms of skill rotations etc.
Here are my questions:
~When I lay down my clouds during boss fights, should I be blowing them up towards the end of their timer or should I be re-placing them?
~Should I be stacking the 2nd job DoT with Mist?
~Is paralyze my primary attacking spell for 4th job?
~What are the benefits of flame haze? To me just seems like a ranged mist spell.
It's not that I don't enjoy it the class, I'm just kinda lost since I've never had a mage class past 3rd job.
Should I switch to I/L or Bishop? If I did, how can I get more of the tokens for that - I only have 1 and if I wanted to switch again I'd need another (obviously).

The general combo i use is:
Paralyze -> poison breathe -> flame haze -> teleport
Myst Eruption.
If the boss has DR, then I substitute teleport with viral slime or the hyper skill.
The five most reliable sources of DoT are Paralyze, Poison Breath, Teleport Mastery, Flame Haze, and Poison Mist. Flame Haze creates a Poison Mist where it hits, so there's no need to create another Poison Mist if it hits. At level 155, when you learn the cooldown cutter for Myst Explosion, you stack the DoTs then spam Flame Haze and Myst Explosion, since a successful Myst Explosion resets the cooldown of Flame Haze.

I think you're teleport has DoT, not sure though

How can I get 5 sources of DoT up? I know paralyze has it's ability that works for drain, and that I have mist cloud and the poison ball, but does each count separately for DoT purposes? Because as far as I can tell I only have 2 sources of DoT.
~You'd want to cast mist explosion as often as possible
~You should always aim towards having at least 5 sources of DoT up
~For mobbing and bossing once you hit a lot with it
~It does quite a bit of damage and leaves poison mist. You'll be alternating this and ME once you get the level 155 hyper for bossing
