Xenon

How you pick a major stat?

SO i'm completely aware that Xenon can use Luk, Str and Dex for damage-stat purposes. What I want to know is how do you pick which one you want - They all obviously confer their own benefit, but which is best for bossing? What about mobbing?

Xenon seems very confusing to me, since I haven't played one before.

After you get 330 everything you put everything else on int because why not?

OK for reals though. Most Xenon tend to use Thief class items, because they retain their value the best. Real talk, %luck has always been expensive as f0rk. Therefore why not put extra stats on luck and be okay with having %luck potentials. If you should ever sell it, your equips are viable for Shads/NW/NL/DB and fannytoms.

We don't need prime scrolling, but it certainly makes it much easier. More + and % stat means less load on weapon potentials.

Xenons are one of the cheapest classes to fund up until a certain point (40-50 M snipe lines in Dojo), then their damage to funding curve levels off quite a bit.
I heard that some xenon after getting 330 to str/luk/dex went full luk.

it seem that it's working for them but i still put in stat equally.
That's either because they had most of their % stat in luk or becauce they wanted a higher avoid.
Every time you avoid an attack you heal one of the energy bar thingies, so people tended to go for luk when they were released.
Nowadays it's pretty easy to cap on avoid, so just either keep splitting it, or put it in the stat with the most %

@ArchM0oL I'd like to know how easy they are to fund too. From what I've heard though they're easy.

@Axnslicer TY for the detailed reply
Xenons can cap snipe damage on CVellum with 10% all stat per item, including nebs. So in theory you could be doing 50 M/line to CVellum with 6% all stat equips. Not that I would ever waste a 4% all neb on a 6% all item, but yeah, you get the idea. Don't overfund by accident.
No. You don't pick a main stat.

In order to activate multilateral, which you absolutely want, you set

330 str
330 luk
330 dex

Then just put your remaining AP points anywhere. You can eek an extra 0.0001% damage out by optimizing distribution along your highest % stat, but it doesn't matter because

1. Your highest % stat might change in the future
2. The damage gain amounts to effectively nothing. We did the math, it's literally less than 1% more damage.
3. You basically have no AP points left after your 330/330/330 distribution anyway, and the few remaining get washed out by + all stats from Tyrants, CRA, and Gollux.

So, quite seriously, put your AP wherever you want after getting 330/330/330.

Basic rules of thumb though.

A) When doing your 330/330/330, use auto distribute, it'll automatically put in the right amount. Go Luk first for the avoid, then fill in Str for the stance, and Dex last because status resistance is the least useful bonus.

B) When buying potential gear, you ideally want something like
9% all, 6% all, 6% all,

but often have to settle for
9% all 6% all 9% random stat you don't care about.

In this case you want that random stat to be the cheapest useful stat, which is generally dex. If you're on a budget it can even be 15% all, 9% defense, which would normally be cubed over at leg.
C) Cubing % all stat is incredibly inefficient, so don't. Buy your gear from other people who luck into 15 % all stat and think it's worthless.

D) Xenons can cap snipe damage on CVellum with 10% all stat per item, including nebs. So in theory you could be doing 50 M/line to CVellum with 6% all stat equips. Not that I would ever waste a 4% all neb on a 6% all item, but yeah, you get the idea. Don't overfund by accident.
