Bowmaster

Relative success of a poor bowmaster

Hi everybody so recently I thought about getting back into my ranger character and potentially getting it to high level. My question was is there a significant gap between a poor bowmaster and a funded one? I would without a doubt be a poor one, and on my NL it isn't too big of an issue for me but on bowmaster would it hinder my ability to actually play the game practically?

Well now that I've funded myself a little bit (About what I'd spend on my ps4 games in 2 months) I'm able to take on regular bosses in under a minute and can max crit about 7m a line with hurricane.

My friend also has this issue, but he has funds on his NL to hit cap on some bosses and is wondering what dmg does he needs to hit with hurricane to be able to even/beat capping NL. Since it's easier to cap with Quad throw.

I'm missing a ton of gear and % dex but on my 200 bm in scania with all my link skills on I can hit 1.3m for 2 lines. Thats criting and using hurricane split. Our speed and lines make up for a whole lot.

The only difference between a poor and a funded bowmaster is that the funded bowmaster will be killing endgame bosses while the poor one would be killing only a few bosses, much like any other class.
There will ALWAYS be a significant gap between the poor and funded in terms of damage because of a ridiculously high damage cap that isn't easily reached by most people. Sure, some classes have the gap smaller than others, but the gap is still big.
If you aren't having issues with your NL, then you most likely will not have issues with a BM. Numbers will be lower, but the number of hits you deal will make up for it.

TL;DR - It will not hinder your ability to actually play the game practically (considering you're fine with your unfunded NL). So... go for it!
