Night Lord Survivability Suggestions
How can I make my NL more tanky and less squishy? I can't even survive Commerci runs in Rosa because the octopus does 8000 damage and I barely have 8100. It's literally become impossible for me to potion fast enough to avoid death (my pet tiger doesn't even potion fast enough.) Outside of getting Cannoneer link skill and a CZAK helm what else can I do? I have maxed Shadow Shifter already. I'd prefer not to spend NX also.

Adding on to what everyone said, monster farm pigs can give like 300hp at A rank.

Yes Level 100
Also [A] Nebulite (Decent Hyper Body), gives you +40% hp (from your base hp)
@Dengy Well I think Pr0x1ed used to wash HP back in old times thats why also he got Decent HB I think.
Plus all %hp bonuses from sets like empress or fafnir
Purge Area Hyper skill for 30% dmg reduction
Also what everyone else said, just link skills. Kaiser Cannoneer for %hp boost.
Zero link skill for damage reduction (it actually makes a difference)
Character card decks 3 S rank decks = +2100 hp. Get DrK chard for 5%hp extra
Mmm willpower, and having lot good equips help getting max defense, so thats something else
Get good HP Medals, its better than just a tiny attk boost.
Im at level 172, 6 Empress set, Kaiser Link skill Lv. 1, and 2 character decks rank A
I have 12k hp iirc
I got 23.3k hp and im a 209 NL
currently i have my drk characater card and warrior set which gives me about 6% hp boost
link skills such ass cannon and kaiser which give another additional hp boost
i use a chtp/dom pend which give me another hp boost
and some of my equips have some hp % on it as well
im using the empress 4 set i believe which gives me additonal hp i'll soon have the reinforced set for more hp to replace the %hp items i currently have
i didnt purposely cube them like that but they just turned out to be that way
having max defense kinda helps as well

Don't forget about Purge Area if you have a point on Purge Area - Boss Killer for that 30% Damage Reduction when they're in range of the hit-box.

Didn't really need your range, but ok XD. What equips are you using? Set effects, links, cards, and card sets could possibly double your hp.
I have a NL with 24k hp buff so hp isn't really an issue for me.
Anyway do the following if you have not done so
1. 9 S rank characters for character cards , that gives +2100 hp
2. Cannoneer Link skill at Level 2 = 10% hp
3. Kaiser link skill at Level 2 = 15% hp
4. Zero link skill at Level 5 = 15% damage reduction
The ways of getting around low HP are so numerous it's not even funny.
1. Character cards
2. Link Skills
3. HB neb/dHB
4. Fortitude Potions
5. % HP equips; Czak Helm, CHTP, Rex Earrings, etc
6. Willpower
7. Decent AB
and so on

They can spend a lot of money, so they have enough to keep trying till they get % luk and lots of %hp with it. Some cubes I think only cube certain lines. I assume, he uses all links, and along with that, uses bonus pots to get %hp. Along with set effects to get %hp.

What level are you and how much hp do you have? I'm at 17k hp @ 181.
Getting full empress set (7) helps too if you can afford it. It give 25%hp iirc. I think there is a trait that gives you hp as well.
Kaiser link and Zero link skill can help. Possibly look into Getting some side gear for cheap. Those %HP Rex earrings from Hoblin PQ and then some rings with 9% hp+
