Can you stop event items from dropping?

Hey guys, this is just a random question because it bothers me. At the moment I'm grinding for certain items and because of my familiar I'm getting a lot more drops than usual. The issue is that this stupid Halloween event has 6 different drops that literally blanket the floor so I can't see any anything else. Is there a way to stop them from dropping? Or do we literally just need to wait out this useless event?

From the sounds of things he doesn't have a pet. It wouldn't matter if they blanket the floor if he had a pet.
And the answer is no.

just drop the tokens after accumulating them, it's the only thing that would be taking up slots anywyas. or npc them.
the other dark etc drops dont even add up in inventory.

no pet? your problem.

I'd rather take in-game pop-ups about midget rights so it's at least a little amusing but they're committed to making the experience as grating as possible.

Some drops you'll be able to block through the pet filter, but normally you're stuck with them.

It doesn't take a genius to implement a feature whereby superfluous and unwanted drops require quest activation, but I'm pretty sure I saw the last 4 Community Managers say Jesus loves slot expansions.
