Dem college Finals
I have a final that's worth 40% of my total grade tomorrow, and here I am on Basil procrastinating. Yey =D
I remember one of my old physical chem classes where each question on my final was worth a letter grade.... x.x

I actually prefer these largely weight finals. The finals that I'm taking are 50%, 40%, and 25% of my entire course load.
finals that are worth that much points are stupid. all that tells me is that you can half ass the entire semester but do good on the final and you'll pass so why bother doing any other assignments
I have to create my own font for my Typography final project.
what's up with all these low % finals... my calc final's worth 75%
I have a comp exam in 9 hours and im on basil.
My last final is on Friday and it's for a class where there's only four tests, including the final, and they're all worth 25% of your grade. My teacher is dropping the lowest test. Looks like I'm taking that day off.
@Classicvibe An average of over 50% is too high for any science class at my school. Whenever a class exceeds that, the professors purposely make the next exam even harder to prove a point..I really don't understand why they make it so unnecessarily hard. I'm pretty sure most people do understand the basic material, but they always try to make us feel like we don't know anything.

we're like the inbetweens of Biology and Physics, there's only 200 of us in my college too
My tests go everywhere from open ended free response to pure math depending on the subfield, physical chem has a lot of math but biochem is really conceptual
No essays though.

ikr? I swear the professors at my school use ochem as some kind of hazing ritual. One of my ochem prof's paraphrased lectures was how he was going to make our final so hard we'd get our asses kicked, so that it wouldn't hurt as much when we got our asses kicked again next quarter....
@omega12311 Pretty much all of my science classes: physics, chem, bio, etc. The average on one of my organic chem midterms was a 28%.
its ok tmr is my mit non linear equations final and we hav a final test thats the only mark for our grade so its basicly pass or fail dam i shud study or i wont b able to graduate and go to harvard law skool T.T

My finals are worth 40% and the average is usually well below 50% because of how ridiculously hard the tests are .
