I miss Skill Quests
I know this is a bit of a rambling post but I really miss skill quests... lol
I only managed to complete the ones for my Bishop and Paladin back in the day before they were removed, the effort it took for me was ridiculous, but it made me appreciate my 4th job skills a lot more, and some of them I actually enjoyed, haha
The quest I had to do in Ludi for Resurrection was really interesting in that it had a nice storyline to go along with it, and you had to do quite a bit of traveling to get it done (And the really weird jump quest). It used to be somewhat of a community effort back in the day whenever a new bishop had to get Genesis from HTPQ. I also remember hunting for the Holy Grail for Divine Charge haha. Although farming for a Black book from zombies in El Nath was just horrible.
I remember receiving a Gellerhead shield too for doing the Guardian skill quest on my Paladin, which is probably the rarest shield today seeing that it's apparently impossible to obtain now....
It's kinda odd now that there's so many newer Maplers who'll never really get to experience these things.
I know it probably isn't quite that feasible to bring them back given the multitude of classes that exist now, but it'd be nice just to bring back some of that roleplay aspect back for each class, and so people appreciate 4th job a lot more than they do now...
How were the skill quests for the other classes?

i remember doing the quest on my bishop, oh what a hassle to get genesis but i do remember the feeling i had when i finally finished and the tears of joy i felt
I'm not going to lie... I really don't mind not having to go through all that hassle for crucial skills at the onset of my 4th job advancement. At the same time I'm rather sad that I quit leveling before being able to hit 4th job back when the skill quests were available. Kinda wish I could read what all the storylines for the skills were; someone on Basil once mentioned that the skill quest for F/Ps and I/Ls explained something about their summons which I'm really curious about. o.o
