What to do for a Lv102 Sniper?

Ohkay so I'm a Lv102 Sniper and I'm not sure which would be better between Typhons and Newts. Or is there anything else that might be better? I tried Newts at 100 and they were alright.

If it helps, my damage range is 1982~3531. Thanks

Typhons are generally better. Just avoid falling. A good newt party would get you around 40%~60%/hr at newties, However, Typhons are for solo training and newts during 1x solo is sloww.
Yeah i'm pretty good at Typhons. And I do ~8k per AE. I just get bored staying at one spot for so long lol.

So lemme get this straight. Typhons till 105, then Newt Parties?
- heh, try staying there for 33 lvls
- yea. but unless you have a newt party, don't go to newts if you care about the EXP. there are way more exciting places to train at with a comparable EXP rate (like himes, god, i loved that place)
i have knowledge of 3, and all of those i've been in. and only 3 in ~2 years or so... yea, they're damned rare

well, with a range like that you can cream typhons as you squish a roach. if you get a decent %//hr at newts, you can generally do better at typhons if you don't fall that often. if you lag too much and fall, i'd say that %/hr at newts is good enough

That and the fact that I have never seen a newt party in Bellocan, it's weird.
On 2x I get about 50% on Solo Newts at my level. But it seemed like Typhons were still faster which is why I asked
I hated typhons. Soloed newts from 85 - 105 and it wasn't bad.

typhoons are faster until 105, and then newties are faster with a party. Newties = most boring monster to train on.

i went to newts solo at lvl 103. had 20 eagle and lvl 1 bliz, and just upgraded my gear (baaaack then). my %/hr averaged 10%, while on typhon i still got a damned good 25%

my advice: don't even bother with newts unless you get into a party. if you can't party, or just like to solo, typhons are your best bet (i stood there up to lvl 123)

@whoever-said-about-CG's: they're not so good unless you get SE. i was there on lvl 113-114, and even if they are exciting to train at, the EXP isn't as good as typhons still. heck, typhons was still mildly good when i left the place at lvl 123
