getting a new phone

It's been 2 years now with the iphone 4s, and now i'm finally ready to upgrade. Should i get the note 4, iphone 6, or wait for the galaxy s 6 to be released?

I'm getting a macbook for college and i already have a ipad, so should i just stay an apple sheep? Or do the new samsungs have enough cool features to make them the best choice? I also want to write some apps on the side (garage openers, remote control lights, rc plane) with the raspberry pi so it is kind of important which would be easier to do that with.

fradddd

OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One, OnePlus One!

All the way!

Or wait til the OnePlus Two comes out because obvs it'll be better. Trust me, my OPO is better than my old LG G2, and obviously better than the S5 and iPhone 6.
Also, they're starting to decrease the amount of (practical) upgrades that smartphones have in each new generation. I think all they're changing for the S6 is the processor, like usual. They are making the screen QuadHD or whatever, but you will barely notice that. They're also making it look like the iPhone 6, like plagiarism-level similar.

@TrueAtheist because new gen is always just around the corner.

The obvious answer is to wait until the S6 comes out next month, get the edge version. Why get a current generation phone when the new generation is just around the corner? You're going to regret not waiting. The Galaxy S6 Edge will be the best phone on market until the end of the year most likely.

since you're already an iPhone user, I say the S6 or the iPhone 6. If not then get a S5.

iphone 6 if your're casual user.
for my taste i have to root android to rid of bloatwares and software lagginess. iphone is superior in everything except battery customization(but whos going to customize that much when jailbreaking can prolly do that stuff as easily)

Unless your phone is broken I would just stick with it. Or gets a samsung for fun. Lots of customization and cool apps. I have an iPhone 4 rn but I would say Samsung is superior in every way except for battery and the music player

The iphone 6 is nothing but a bigger screen. The battery sucks, nothing like what i expected
