Are the Cygnus with the Black Mage?
I heard a lot of stories about Cygnus, but I thought they were fake, is it true that they are allies of the Black Mage? Im asking this because of the Von Leon Story and in the Maple Chaos video it says that the maple world was filled with lies, and it shows an image of the empress...

They're possessed I believe. Not allies.
According to the anime, they were in search of some tree and the cygnus knights were caught and corrupted, thus leading them to become the Black Mages allies.
From what I know (and what I know could be lies), they are just possessed.
