Why is everyone quoting me?

The largest MMORPG in the world doesn't need trailers to attract people.

Why should we care

They dont because they are incopentent fools who think they can run a company and a bunch of online games but in reality they cant
All they want is for people to buy NX
Besides they are too busy not working to do anything
Basically
They just don't care about anything but money

For one, Maple and WoW's art style are completely different. The CGI in WoW makes it look epic. Maple doesn't use CGI. Two, Blizzard makes more money than Nexon, they could afford to pay people to make epic trailers. Three, they need to try to make people buy their game. They charge per month, so that puts off a lot of people. To compensate, they release awesome trailers to make people say "that looks like a cool game, I wouldn't mind paying for that!" Maple is free, the promotion is nice, but not needed and so, not that much effort is put into the epicness.

But yeah, like I was going to say. Nexon DOES make promo videos. However, nexon graphics, and blizzard graphics, are CLEARLY 2 different things. 2d chibi vs 3d realism? yeah. The 2d will never look as awesome, because it caters to cuteness. It would be severely misleading if maple did release a video like that. Plus it's easy/cheaper for blizzard to make videos like that since it's not a huge jump from their normal design. If maple did that, it would require a huge investment.

That wow trailer does look awesome.. but the game's monthly fee is a massive turn off.

It makes me want to quit.

Well...

WoW is $15 a month.
It's not muuuch, but my dad won't really pay for it, atleast not all year round. I have to first pay for the game, and then the account. Blah.

Blizzard is like ova 9000! and nexon is like... well.... like nothing.

Nexon makes trailers... they just don't make super-realistic, overly-CGed ones...

...why? Because when you picture Maple Story, you don't picture super-realistic characters or an overabundance of CGi... [b]you picture chibi-ized anime inspired 2D graphics[/b].

And that's what they normally deliver. Sure, there has been some 3D trailers, but the style remains the same.

Again, stop comparing two games with different styles... and more importantly, stop comparing everything to WoW. Maple is not WoW. If you want WoW's style, stop whining about Maple and [b]GO PLAY WoW![/b]

He never said Nexon didn't make trailers. He said why doesn't Nexon make good trailers. New ones. After maybe big updates?
