AP United States History
AP English language and composition
@ContagiousSmile: Have no idea. I took it last year after the AP course after having studied the language since 6th grade (took in 10th). I participated actively in the class, tried to speak alot, did my homework and stuff, and ended up getting a 5. If you were active and pushed yourself through the year, you should be fine.
For the cultural part, have some filler lines if you don't know what to say haha. Also, impress the graders with fancy grammatical forms (kinda pathetic but this is what you should do) on the essay/letter. Good luck!
@iceychill2: ah, well best of luck to you this year! wish you the best!
comp sci a
calc bc
stats
bio
physics b
and world history
really worried about my APCS final, heard there was grid world...System.out.println("Hate that " + "s" + "h" + "i" + "t" ) ;
@AmyrIin: I'm not a native speaker, but I've been studying it for a little under 7 years and have traveled to France 3 times so I'm pretty competent in the language. I actually took the AP last year without taking the AP course at my school and got a 4 without really knowing many of the details that they were looking for (themes/email specifications/how to do the simulated conversation/etc.). After taking the AP class this year, I should be fine.
And yeah unfortunately I never took the AP before they changed it, so I can't really compare the two versions.
Are you a native French speaker?
AP french, at least before they totally changed it to include a bigger cultural component, was one of the hardest APs available.
Oh god this is what I was thinking. I'm so scared for that exam ... do you know what the new curve is?
Can anyone tell me how hard is the AP Comp Sci exam? I averaged about 95%~98% in the class. Thank you.
It's a hard test to get a 5 on. You need somewhere around 80-85% of the MC right and all of the free response for a 5, or some mix of the two.
AP Chemistry (lightweight confident ish)
AP Calc AB (confident)
APUSH (not confident at all)
LF>tips on ap psych!
Good luck to those taking AP Psych!
I took the class, but well, let's just say I knew I wasn't going to pass the AP Exam. So I didn't sign up for it. No regrets.
And don't forget about social loafing! haha, they actually asked about that once on the exam one year I heard.
poor kids. i've been on summer break since the end of april
good luck peoples
Oh boo hoo AP exams, must be SO hard
@askmiller thank you very much.
AP world history
AP biology
o god...
I'm a bit worried, first time I'll be taking the AP exam, and I have 2
Oh boo hoo AP exams, must be SO hard
@Avatar: well for MC, theres equations you have to know. When they ask about questions like... for example (im just making one up on the spot)... 2 speakers are d distance apart and give off sound. Lambda is the wavelength of the sound and L is the distance away from where you are standing. From the 2nd order dark fringe, if d was increased to 3/2d, how is the position of the fringes changed?
If i didn't know the equation for double slits, id be screwed x.o but yeah. there is conceptual stuff and equations can be derived, but there are still a few that can't be derived lol
One thoughtful but seemingly creepy idea I thought of, if any of you are in Psych and wanna start a skype call for review and etc. that'd be cool. Could work for other AP's too.
lol, everybody who's posting in this thread is obviously procrastinating
ap environmental science tomorrow. yoloing it
and then every other subject except spanish after
Calc BC--- solid 4s, but with studying ill try to get 5.
US History---- uh. no. im asian bro.
Physics---- got 3 without memorizing any equations and i was 2 raw score points away from a 4... so i just need to memorize equations and ill be good
Chinese---- haha funny. im asian.
Lang and Comp---- uh no. im asian.
You have to memorize equations for physics? I never took AP but that sounds like a lot to ask for. At the end of my class I had about 2 pages front and back filled with equations for the exam (it was open book). Physics shouldn't be about memorizing equations...in higher up physics most formulas can't be "derived" like high school physics especially since many formulas are determined experimentally/have difficult derivations.
AP World History, eh, not too worried yet.
Calc BC and Physics. Screwed for both of them.
AP French, and AP English Lit
French is honestly a free 5 but English could be surprisingly difficult. anyone know?
Remove the parenthesis, and please forgive basil's filter. It is trying its best.
Here are some interesting stats for you all. That Calc BC distribution is ridiculous. They need to ease up on the curve.
AP French, and AP English Lit
French is honestly a free 5 but English could be surprisingly difficult. anyone know?
thanks for the good luck im gonna need it
Psych
Art History
Calc AB
Lit
Stat
Physics
Gov
Only ones I'm confident getting a 4+ on are Calc, Stat, and Gov. The other I definitely need to still study/cram for.
psychology tomorrow and economics next thursday. nbd.
Can anyone tell me how hard is the AP Comp Sci exam? I averaged about 95%~98% in the class. Thank you.
AP Psych tomorrow then apush next week
NEED2CRAMFORPSYCH
AP Euro, next Wednesday
yeah I don't got this at all
Calc BC, Bio, APUSH, and the two econs.
which reminds me...back to studiyng
APES tomorrow and Ap Eng Lang on Friday.
dunno bout which formulas to memorize for APES. hgndfghhghf
AP Chemistry is default 5!
All exams are on a transformed bell curve. You generally need 55-70% proficiency to get a five. All you guys have to do is hope everyone else in the country does poorly on the exam.
AP World History is next week on Thursday for me.
Still have plenty of time to study.
Ap Lit, Gov, and Bio.
I still don't know my amendments. :C
ready for this. all you neee to get is 60%-66% to get a 5 anyways .. gonna be a breezer!
Wow no kidding? I thought it was a 70%+ for a 5.
AP music theory
Oh jeez for you guys taking like 4 or 5+ LOL...
GOOD LUCK THOUGH! ;D
I'm taking AP French & Culture and AP English Composition. Haven't begun studying either LOL
School in Canada ends late june....sigh. Atleast we start later.
I have Chemistry tomorrow.
I scored 4s and 5s on all of my AP exams so far, but I'm a little worried since I NEEEEEED a 5 on this exam.
Then Calc AB, English Lit, and Government and Politics.
AP physical education, it is going to be tough ...
AP World History for me. I'm soo nervous urgh
I'm pretty confident in Calc, but not so much in Euro... I'm scared for the latter
ap chemistry and i still dont know what what a period and a row is.
AP Euro..I dont feel ready at all :c
I'm taking Ap psychology TOMORROW
I'm nervous as heck, since if I don't pass I won't save myself thousands of dollars and a credit, but I know I've studied a lot, So idk how things will turn out.
I want a 4, but a 3 is fine too.
