palidin or zero?

Ive been playing my palidin for quite a while and I love it, I love just being a mega tank and still being able to do some damage, but I dont really like how 1 dimensional my gameplay is, its just stack blast stack blast etc. Im not in too deep with him, I currently have a 250k range buffed and I started playing my zero and realized how much fun it is to play. Would it be a good idea to switch? What is a combo for zeros? How is there damage and are they good for bosses? And how squishy are they? Thanks in advance! :*

@Axnslicer: The mercedes is just a personal preference, but you have to admit bossing potential with mercedes is pretty legit with double final attack and ishtar's ring and ele knights
@Weifeng alright I think im sold on zeros xD do you know if decent hyper body has any effect on dr or 1/1 moves? Because when I hilla on my palidin and she puts up her dr I can still attack her and not die or is that just a pally thing? And 1/1 moves bring me to like half health. and if you dont mind me asking, whats a good combo for bossing and mobbing or is it all just situational?
it doesnt help on 1/1 attacks
and i think pally have natural damge reduction? thats why pally can easily tank c vel tails
as for combos its really situational

zero can go into god mode for 15 seconds and if u have character cards and inner ability or other pots to increase buffs that god mode can last longer. it really saves ur ass when dr kicks in. Also when i boss against pink bean the statues DR takes half my health and I live same thing with pink bean himself.

Yay, another Zero in the world!

And as far as end-gane bosses (Think Magnus or Gollux) go, yes it can be situational, especially in the initial runs where you're figuring out what combos give you the quickest chance to beat them. But for easy stationary ones like Zakum, there's no much to figure out.
damage for zeros are just plain insane, or, as long as you tag skill, they have the highest %dmg per second atm I believe
Zero's are significantly squishier than pallies, especially if you aren't paying attention and forget to tag, but with the tag system, you usually don't have to worry about your hp because it heals really fast after you tag
However, overall, if it was up to me, I would stay a pally, but that's just personal preference and playstyle preference, either be super tanky and do a bit of damage(DA or Pally), or sacrifice tankiness for extreme damage(Mercedes), Zeros are a bit between as they lack a secondary weapon to boost their attack and Beta's attack lines are fairly low, but on the bright side, they get free weapon cubing, you just have to grind for weapon points
Mercedes is in no way, shape, or form, worth considering against Zero in terms of dps. I wouldn't call Mercedes dps worthless, but before the revamp it was pretty close to it. Even after the revamps it's barely above mediocre.

According to the DPS charts, Zero does around 4-5 times as much damage. Probably closer to 2-4 in reality, but I think you get the point.

681k clean on alpha, just soloed hard magnus a few days ago
in terms of squishy...eh, beta is pretty tanky, on any attack theres a 25% chance of summoning a shield, upon summoning the shield, the attack that summon the shield is ignored(applies to all attacks, even chaos vellum tail)
and the shield tanks half of your HP, which means right after summon if you get hit by a 100% HP attack(eg. magnus blue purple rock) you'll be left with 50% HP, but still alive
then theres the 180second CD god mode/revive buff
im pretty happy with zero's survivability

so im guessing magnus is kinda difficult? I really like the idea of how unique it is, its somthing you have to pay attention to what you are doing. Im still really new to it though so it will take some time to get good with it but im actually really excited to play on him more

Paladin isn't a fun class to play compared to zero, although I main a paladin... Zero training is actually fun and you can attack with so many different skills.

The combos and general gameplay take awhile to fully master, and the inconsistency of it all tends to affect your DPS when you're bossing. Some also don't like how Zero moves around when bossing, as that can be a hinderance against certain bosses.

Honestly, this is my favorite class, due to how unique it is, as opposed to being a class that just spams the same kill forever. And all the utilities it has such as a bunch of slots space, free cubing, easy profession lvling, godmode, and so on is just going icing on the cake. I consider it the overall most efficient class, despite it not being the outright strongestm

Yeah I made one but he had the most stupid name I could think of lol
And what makes it so hard? Just the combos?

Just to clarify, you've already made a Zero right? Because you currently cannot make one.

And yea, the double pot thing is pretty awesome, especially since you basically only have to cube one item, instead of two. The same applies to nebulites, such as the 25% boss one.

Beta's weapon is the secondary. Whatever potential you get on their weapons is applied twice.

zero is just too awesome, i totally recommend it as I main one. I was hitting 5-13m per line with 250k range and now im at about 28-40m with 800k range. the damage will fluctuate alot until you balance out your stats. This was my damage on bossing and i had about 220% boss damage on alpha and 290%ish on beta at the time i had 250k range

Zero is pretty strong, the link skill and character card are both useful. Definitely not squishy, one of the most annoying class to kill in boss arena lol If you want to lvl a Zero I would recommend getting a 2x quest exp boost. That way you would be doing most quests till lvl180 or over. The 2x quest exp coupon lasts for 10 day. It's plenty to get a Zero over lvl180.
