Some 90's kids are exempt from this (ie, those not from or raised in America or raised on American standards, meaning like some poor kid in some 3rd world developing nation).
But I blame the "newer" generation of parents too for not READING THE DAMN ESRB RATING WHEN YOU BUY CoD FOR YOUR KIDS. M for Mature for a reason. Same goes for League. Rated T for Teen for a reason. I don't give a damn if you locked in as a carry while TWO OTHERS do the same and THEN ONLY realize what you just did at the 30 second countdown, having the leave me as the support carry the team AS THE ONLY PERSON WITH KILLS (on a smurf account).

@eean: I cringe when I see these "I'm ashamed of my generation" crap too don't worry. People need to get the heck off their high horse.

@Snovvy High school students, college/ university students to older mostly have phones or use a form of technology, don't they? As far as i see it attending class is part of 'general every-day life.' And despite your list they will still steer away from the lessons to look at social media/ at something non-related even if for a second. How many times have you done this?

'I don't see where 'there's more' leads to 'there's too much' "
So you're saying it's ok for a person to use technology without giving regard to how much time is actually spent on it

@Snovvy In-class can be included, since students are still able to use their device

If you compare the amount of information streaming and being uploaded to the web today to one or two decades ago there's a big leap in the scale of data available, it suggests that people nowadays are using technology and have access to it and are accessing it every second

@Snovvy In general, a person with access to a device like a phone will spend too much time on it sifting through social media like FB, twitter, tumblr instead of maybe focusing in class. Too often i see people specially around my age glued to their phones, it's not a bad thing using technology but there should always be a limit, dont you agree?

Spoiled ~in a sense that the majority of people depend on, for example, technology too much that it becomes in excess. What morals do you convey when you don't know how or when to say no?
