Err i suggest having at least one other mage with you mages should have 40-60k range in order to take out the summons can be lower if you use mist errupt while stacking. small party of 2-3 avg range should be around 40k - 50k if you want to finish on time.

lol. A small group of us attempted Ark but we failed thanks to the healing powers. I'd say you need to be able to kill the snakes within a few seconds, otherwise all the damage you deal will just be healed. I was able to kill the snakes decently with around a 35k range as a bishop, but I'd recommend something higher.
