Honestly, who cares if you don't believe the person. If you don't believe what the thread says, don't do anything, just get out. It's becoming a real annoyance.
Quit asking for SS's because, once again, frankly no one cares if you don't believe it.

These two scenarios, wouldn't some people want to see some sort of evidence? If you don't want to, it's cool, no one cares if you don't want, they just care if they want to.
Personally, I'd like to see an SS of those two scenarios if it happens someday.

I don't think its unreasonable to ask for proof under certain circumstances, but if it is like a price check thread or something then it becomes a bit ridiculous.
