It gives a damage boost, you can also hold down the macro so it's not all that slow. It's still faster than the old assassinate.

For 1v1 on bosses I like to do the DS+Nate+Nate macro
But when bossing, before I start attacking I set up DF, SS, use steal (for the +30atk buff), lvl 170 hyper, then DS+Nate+Nate
All with pickpocket on, and when there are enough coins I like to ME cuz it's fun
You can also macro the classic Bstep+MC too, but the DS+Nate+Nate is the best combo for bossing

For mobbing I usually just do Bstep and Bstep and Bstep, phasedash to rush and SB if Bstep doesn't 1hko
