Tonight, I will teach yall how to cook salmon

hello Basil Market.

Tonight I have decided to teach y'all how to cook fish and steal.

For the fish, preferably salmon I'd recommend taking the salmon and marinate it in lemon juice oliveoil salt and ground black pepper for 30 minutes before cooking it. Then you make the sauce pan on high until you feel your hand cooking when you put it 6 inches away from the pan. Then you put the salmon in and sear all sides, and then grab a bowl with alittle water and a lid and pour the water and lid over the sauce pan. Then you reduce heat and wait for until the meat is cooked to the way you like. Then put some garlics and chives into the pan and there you have it a salmon steak!

@drpebble, ahh I never thought about trying cook salmon on an open fire, I'll bet it gets a really nice natural flavor to it. What type of stones do you prefer? big round ones?
@athmyst you should! It is really easy and salmon steak shouldn't be very expensive. Where I shop I get a pretty decent salmon steak for 6$ <3

Please guys, @craftinrock @drpebble, judging by your names you both love stones, but please if you wish to discuss about stones please make your own thread where you can have your own sanctuary for your stone discussions. As far as the salmon is concerned, I will try to broil the salmon next time @craftinrock and one interesting thing that came to my attention as a result of your previous discussion about stones, was those hollowed out boulders you were speaking about. Have you ever tried to cook a salmon in one? and if so how did it taste and how can i go about acquiring one for my kitchen?

@iliketurtles You should serve it on a round plate <3

@RitoPls Yes, I'll admitt nothing beats a bbq, but the pan is a great alternative! if you get a good sear it can be almost as good as bbq!

@fetishes well i assume it is a long and arduous process to cook a fresh baby, and I think it is something outside of my skill range. I would suggest searching it up on google and then see what people with experience have to say about it! <3

Ah well, I can't believe you never cooked steak :O It is really simple almost as easy as salmon! I will teach you how to cook it with the pan, stay tuned!
I use the pan for a lot of things but steak? No -- you need to grill steak. No exceptions.
boiiiiiiiii what r u doing w/o miso and and oven[!][?][!] miso is so versatile and cheap, much better than goin' out and buying a meager bowl for $1. lol you can use it to make miso gravy, miso soup, season things... it's v good.
as for greek seasoning, it's available from costco. huge club pack. lasts a lifetime, so i always separate it into containers n give it to my friends in AAaamerica.

That is some fancy recipes you have. I'll definitely try it out when I figure out how to work that oven! I am in canada as well so I can get my hands on some greek seasoning, but I've never bought miso before. I will have to try it out! Maybe I can make some miso soup as well <3

boy speaks the truth

i do the same thing as u.
sometimes i marinate it w/ greek seasoning (i think it's only available in canada?) and bake it at 375 for 15 mins.
or i marinate it w/ miso + sake + brown sugar, and bake it at 375 for 15 mins.

*also, u should post this in chat, silly

If you don't broil salmon you're wasting fish.
Salmon steaks are literally garbage-tier of fish dishes as well.
I've never broiled anything before. But I will try it next time I have an opportunity, thanks for the suggestion. I actually use the pan for everything so I'm an expert and you better try my recipe you noob.
