I have a pair of Michaela's Glasses on my Aran right now, as you can see on my avatar. I must have killed him about 30 times, but i got them eventually. And yes, i got them AFTER the most recent revamp. Just keep trying, it takes time and luck.
Also, the glasses give +2 all stats, +50 HP/MP, and + 150 avoid.
