Big difference between Normal and Hard. Under circumstance with Final Cut, my range is around 2M max buffed. I don't think I can solo Hard then as I do not have extended buff duration. I would need an additional attacker with high range and at least a high level Kanna or DA with Bind. Hmmm...I think partying would be fun. I'll do the Normal runs for a Magnus soul. I will just Party Up with Guildies with near range in order to tackle Hard efficiently.

Thank you guys for your help. Better to get some insight then to die mercilessly and rage quit LOL.

closest run i had was with a fully buffed 1.9xm~2m kanna and a 300k zero
note that kanna has 40 seconds of bind every 120 seconds

To solo him you need a very high range. If you bring someone to bind him I believe you could kill him in the time limit by yourself. And you can easily do normal magnus with that range, I can do him with 230k range on a NL, and you more than quadruple that, even though you are a phantom itll be easy

I'd rather have them remove the drop restriction than remove the rush knockback.

It was a bit to adapt to Gollux as well but I think it is control then that will favor me to victory. What is the recommended range for Hard Magnus.

Nerfed as in, it's even easier than it already was to kill hard magnus. Capes already aren't worth the PSoK anyway.
With his rush no longer KBing I can probably do some no death solos now.

Now they just need to fix the swords doing twice their animation range. I don't understand how they have this fixed in easy mode but not normal or hard...

You can normal Magnus with that range no problem! He gives soul shards at Easy and Normal. And I believe Pantheon is the right questline to do Magnus. He is a very different boss. I'm used to standing there and derping my damage at bosses but you have to actually move around for Magnus.

finally after kms had it for like 2 years

:3 I just started the quest line for Pantheon. Is that the one for Magnus? I was more for grinding and chilling and I am just now starting to do boss quest lines. I finally finished Gollux the other day and I am doing normal runs daily.

I have seen videos of Magnus and I think I can do Easy Mag. Never tried, don't know. Is my range high enough to even attempt to solo normal Magnus or should I partner with a few guildmates? I am currently 1.01m buffed and with Final Cut I think it doubles. Btw I am a Phantom lol. He looks intimidating. I also have about 200% boss and 90% PDR. Don't know if PDR makes a diff on Mag.

also does he drop Tyrants at normal? Or what does he drop that I'd good at normal. And does he give soul shards at Normal and Easy. Hope to finish soon and appreciate the guidance.
