Combat Step with jump or holding down Combat Step?
the cooldown for combat step for arans was seriously reduced, to the point that you can just hold the button down and zoom away. which is faster, holding it down, or jumping after each combat step?

@389817: well, looks like someone got ksed by arans recently
I thought Combat jumping was faster before I tested it.
I got the exact same speed as holding down the arrow key and the CS key.
This is NOT a map where I could jump onto blocks and CS off them for a big boost. Obviously in maps where this is possible, capitalizing on ledges is the fastest.
In terms of a completely flat map, they are the same speed. And I find Combat Jump much harder to do (took a lot of tries, more than it should have, I thought I was good at Combat Jumping ._.)
RIP combat jump. Still good for clearing gaps.
stepjumping is definately faster, perhaps not by much, but faster
(testing across ludi (hard to not combatstep off some of the blocks n slides n stuff))
even though it is faster, i find it too troublesome and, iunno if it's just me, but i find it harder to combat jump than before
unless you can combat jump flawlessly and really need that extra second or two from doing so, i would just stick with combat spam
Let me test it in a flat map!
I think step jumping is still faster. Or it's cause my connection doesn't let me spam it very fast.
for moving across maps, probably just hold it down now :x
But for jumping large gaps, step jump all the way :O
use both
Mech's dash skill got boosted too (probably cause it's just a copy of the Aran combat step), but I find that dash-jumping is still faster
