I had similar yesterday. A Captain Falcon, opened with taunting, and kept doing telegraphed attacks. I backthrew him 8 times for over 80% and I kill him with an Uair. I only had 17% on my first stock so he runs off stage. On the select screen he called me a "camping F**" Even though Mega man can only zone not camp (unless MM wants to die), even though I back threw the hell out of his obvious approaches, even though I killed him with an Uair, in a match that barely lasted a minute. But somehow, I was the camper.

And I am sorry, I play Smash like a couple of hours a week and would be the first to tell you I suck, so if anyone who takes FG serious enough to post that kinda of garbage because you lost to me...its because your skill is garbage.

Stuff like this is why l hate playing online. l always have the same experiences with Links and Toon Links as you do TS, and l hate Ness's that use PK Thunder camp (will aim at you, and if you don't approach they will aim at themself; than run away PK Fire D-throw F-air, repeat repeat), Sonics that spam dash attack and Side-b camp, and of course the infamous after losing a match they will switch to their "main" Little Mac and just run away spam dash attack and Counter.

ldk how these people enjoy playing like this, like literally people do the same stupid strat THOUSANDS of times and then flaunt their stupid win percentages so they get the ultimate ego b0wlner.

Honestly, I think the character that gives me the most trouble currently is Sonic. He doesn't have many approach options, having only a charged spin dash and homing attack that is can be easily blocked. Usually, with the FG mentality of playing the most aggressively for that oh-so-important win ratio (aka nofunallowed.png), many typical Sonic users will usually start off the match with constant spin dashes into an aerial. However, it's really easy to predict this type of play style and it can be countered in such a way that you could simply jab him out of it with a rapid-jabbing character such as Kirby's. At this point, they'll usually start leaning towards the defensive play style by rolling everywhere and throwing out charged smashes expecting you to run right into them. This usually occurs for over 3 minutes with nothing but small exchanges here and there. Before you know it, you're timed out almost every match unless you've been putting in that work by making those hard reads. The problem is, it shouldn't even be that hard to punish spamming but it is in the case of Sonic. He's just too fast in this iteration. Never have I had to work so hard to get a kill from a character then when it is Sonic. Hell, even the roll-happy Little Mac players were more bearable than this.

I know that there are some really good Sonic players out there who make it their goal to play competitively but also want to have fun, but damn, why must Sonic be the go-to-character for FG bread rollers...

I have had two toon links do that to me. In one match, they killed me when I had only did 26%. He then taunted when I died. The problem is I kinda got a feel for him and noticed that he usually landed unsafely and didn't know how to deal with my Fsmash if I got the chance to fire them. In short, I punished his roll spam with Dsmash and Fsmashed every time he landed. Came back and won that match. In the other, match I noticed that the toon link would shield way too long if I could get a crash bomb on him , which isn't smart against Megaman. I ended up breaking his shield twice, in which one made him fall dizzily off the ledge. So for toon links that do this, I try to find w/e I can exploit.

The only char I struggle with if the roll alot is Palutena but this is because she has a reflfector and I don't understand the matchup yet. From what I read Megaman shouldnt have problems with her, but I do and need to find my way in.

On other note, I find that people hate Sonic quite a bit, which I play when I want a Megaman breather. I don't know much about Sonic and just play him for lollygags but he has a lot of exploits that I see ppl ignore; like certain types of projectiles. In one match that I actually lost as Sonic, the person got annoyed and chose Sonic for the second round, I chose my main Megaman; I destroyed him almost completely via lemon spam.

I main Yoshi and I constantly atk with my egg throw when we are at a distance of each other, almost hitting my victim 100% of the time with amazing aim. When they come close I will destroy them with mad combos. Yoshi life yo.

I can't stand Sonics who just dash and Pacman...
I also just can't stand players who just run away and don't fight. I was playing a Megaman last night who would just roll to the edge and spam the blaster. He wasn't hard to beat, but it it wasn't any fun because he would just run away. Also played a Donkey Kong who would only only stand at the ledge and wait for you to attack so he could grab you, throw you off the ledge, then try to spike.

When they stop fighting. I feel guilty about fighting when they're like that, so I kill myself and leave the room.

well that guy probably found a very good tactic bravo to him. im gonna buy the 3ds xl soon though

There's so many characters I could list but maybe I just suck.
