Miho Pet Package

Miho Action Pet Package

http://maplestory.nexon.net/shop/special-promotions/this-week/00IXr

May 27 to June 2 in the Special Promotions > Limited Time Specials category.

Take home a Miho Box, double-click it, and answer questions to receive a specialized Action Miho pet based on your responses! Your Miho can have one of three unique attributes which influences its personality. Miho pets give you buffs to various stats, and the buffs become more powerful as the pet levels up. Summon a Miho pet to obtain the Miho Pet Boost skill, which will increase your Weapon Attack and Magic Attack.

Miho pets can also transform and evolve! Your Miho can transform when you receive EXP from hunting or by entering the command "transform" into the chat bar (type "return" to change back). When your pet reaches Lv. 30, use an Accelerator which drops from the bonus stage that appears after beating an Elite Boss to help your pet evolve into a Spirit Miho! Spirit Miho pets give you even stronger buffs. The Lv. 30 Miho pet buff doesn't stack with itself. Note that Miho and Spirit Miho pets don't respond to pet commands or chat.

You can also pick up the Miho pet's permanent equip in the Pet > Pet Appearance category of the Cash Shop.

I think it's a cool idea, is it worth the price?

Basically everything you need to know bout action pets..
I've been waiting for these to come back because i missed them while i was away from the game.

When you buy a action pet you need to answer a question that will determine your pet's attribute... there is no one better over the other, think of it being custom made for you, Miho is just one question. Unlike normal pets action pets do not follow commands, they're a little harder to level for the first 30 levels but once you get them to lvl30 you feed them those Accelerator gems you see in FM from time to time (semi uncommon world drop) and then they morph into their higher powerful self (like evolving pets but these ones come with nice buffs.) To level them you look after them (feed them) but they also level as you level! So higher level players will find the process of leveling a action pet harder (but this can be bypassed by feeding it NX food.)

As for buffs there are two groups. The buffs get stronger as your pet gains levels. 1-30 is the first group with lvl30 being the highest level buff however once you morph them at lvl30 into their more powerful self they then cast their ultimate buff - forget the stats of those buffs but you -WANT- to morph your action pet to get the buff.... action pet's buffs do not stack from memory (or maybe the same type doesn't stack, I'm unsure about that) if they don't stack there is no benefit other then looks for having more then one. They will randomly cast 1 of 4 buffs 1-30 and same past lvl30 once you morph them and again they will randomly cast one of four buffs but they're much more powerful. there is a all stat buff, HP% buff, speed/jump buff and a wep/def buff.

Now I mentioned they don't follow the normal pet commands but there are two special commands for them (doesn't level them) and they are 'transform' and 'return'. Depending on what action pet you got is what the transform look is, between 1-30 it's a cute transform (normally) and for Miho's the transform detail is slight at 1-30 however, again, once you morph them at lvl30 they take on a greater transformed image. You just use 'return' if you want them to morph back into their normal state. Sometimes an action pet will ignore your transform command, normally they won't transform easily when you're not fighting mobs in your range so you might not be able to show it off in FM for example.

they're pretty fun to interact with.

Also they're not permanent, they do expire but i think it's longer, like 120 days.... i think.

As for the three types, it's cosmetic, you will be asked what your favorite gems is (i think) from three types and depending on the gem you pick is the miho you get.

One thing I don't see is the special potion, when they first came out you got a special potion you feed them to boost their buff to get a uber buff (it's really good like all stats +20 at lvl30)and I'm not seeing that in the cash shop so I doubt we will have the chance to get that level of buffs from them this time around. When you feed your miho they will have the animation of drinking a potion, it's a shame their special potions aren't there.

Oh and if you get one unequip it before clicking the accelerator, it's either because they bugged out last time when equipped or they're like cubes where you have to drop the pet into the screen... getting mix answers from guildies on that one.
You could always get the water of life from the rewards shop whenever the pet dies as far as I know, Or you can't use it on this special pets? Correct me if I'm wrong.

several threads have been made about this and the other cs updates, but not worth it imo. looks exactly like the robo pets (except with the transform option), with minimal attack buffs. the pets also expire which is another downside
