i thought events were suppose to be fun
now its like homework where if i don't do some events i get left behind hard. If i miss even a day of maple i m so behind compare to the rest of the people its not even funny. The attendance event making u play 14 days killing 300 monsters but if someone can't play everyday or doesn't play for just 1 day they lose out on the event. casual play just got harder in maple.
my question to u is do u play for serious like farming mindlessly on events or just for fun like bossing and talking to friends ?

I was doing the attendance events and ring on 2 characters but it was getting boring, so I am only doing it on one character now.
My daily routine:
1. login and accept quests
2. kill 300 monsters and pick up some cinnamon chai
3. one evo-lab run for spinner coupons
4. surf fm until quests are ready
5. finish ring upgrading and then AFK in my store all day
*6. train Demon Avenger for a little at night
i admit im a no life
i just sit there af.king or watching anime
yea insult me or what ever
I like these event a lot more than sengoku event.
The attendance thing is to GET people like you play more. It's supposed to motivate you. But i do agree, all the past events have been based on this horrible logic.
Well, to be fair:
- Killing 300 monsters take 10 minutes
- Giving you the same rewards as the person who did it more, seems a bit unfair
- Missing a day on a video game is hardly bad, well it's not bad at all
- If you can't play everyday like some people, it's a good sign? Do you seriously want to align yourself to people who has free time to play this game everyday, all day?
- Right now, I play casually, I do whatever I can if I feel like it, if I can't, so be it. It's not like I have to have all these pixels.
What if I said your basic definition of a game is wrong?
What if I told you I enjoy abusing events and it's 'fun' because I get to use characters I dropped.
What if I told you I have a friend who finds it fun to hit Lv200
Are we no lives because we're having fun?
Yeah, basically.
See, it's weird but I play the game for fun. As in like, the basic definition of a game. That event isn't fun at all so screw it. People that are doing all of them on more than one fricken character need to get a life.
Considering the check in event prizes are incredible chaos goodness scrolls, new char slots and unique pot scrolls I think difficult events are more than fair.
@rumbl r u talking about like hottimes yea i guess i will probably just do those
u brought up better equipments in the future and i agree. as maple progresses the items we consider godly will lose value like empress set
Sadily i play maplestory just for the events right now/for the last year or so, and for similar reasoning. Not that i'm afraid i'll fall behind or something, but i don't want to miss "unique" items. I hop on for a hour a day to get the ring mark, and within that hour get the 300 kills, then im off for the day, i do this everyday once i get home from work (3rd shift) so i don't forget. Otherwise i don't do much else, besides level up characters for link skill/character cards, as well as there unique events (get to level 70 before xyz for hat, or anything else)
EDIT: Sorry, that's not auto generated.
That's why I don't do them. You don't need to be godly in maple to have fun
This is fun.
