Nope. It's from the quest itself. (I'm not sure about the daily part.. but I just finished killing krexel, and I went back to talk to that guy and he gave me 7.5mil). And yeah I was looking at this thread a few days ago.. so late reply.
I've been doing Krexel runs since Unleashed came out. Honestly, he has roughly a total of 900m HP. I deal roughly 350k a hit with hurricane and can kill him in less than 10 minutes. The exp is fantastic (22 mil) and he is lv 170. You do not need to do the prequests over again once you do them the first time.

The quest "Savior of Ulu City" rewards you with 7.5mil pure mesos per completion, and is repeatable once per 24 hours.
As a side note, Krexel gives 4.4mil exp per eye (two eyes total), adding up to 8.8mil exp per full kill. You can kill him twice a day, which is a whopping 17.6mil exp in a matter of a few minutes.

Remember that it doesn't reset at 12AM PST, it resets every 24 hours after completion.
Daily quest from the guy gives you 7.5m pure mesos.

He doesn't even hit 4k on me and I'm a Corsair.
Surviving him isn't an issue, I have 14k HP buffed so I just use the 60% HP pots from NLC and spam away for a bit.
I'm not really funded, and Corsairs are middling in DPS so as long as you have, say, a 30k range or so buffed he shouldn't be hard.
Also, why would you ever buy those ramens? They're retardedly overpriced and it's pretty easy to see that. Power elixirs and the 75% hp/mp pot from NLC are many times cheaper.

It takes me 8 mins on a Mihile that does about twice her damage. 20 mins for her seems legit.

Yea you can make 7.5M daily (basically potion money if your buying my potions), I recommend buying a ton of the 80% hp/mp miso ramen (12k each), its handy for this boss (hits like 6k-7k each time) and just plain maple monsters in general.
Overall its like a +4-5M, after all the potions you use doing the prequest/surviving the monsters and fighting him.

uh I recommend you go to FM to buy... my seller sells power elixirs 4k ea and regular elixirs 2k ea, that stuff sounds expensive xD (but exotic)

450 mil for each eye so 900 mil and 25% PDR. The first eye does Super Def for both magic and weapon but for some reason its Super Magic Def last longer so mages will take longer.
The second just attacks you without those annoyances.
EXP penalties apply if your level is too high.

Krexel is Level 170 with 900mill hp all together. It also gives 22m (Together).
The question is: Is the new Krexel that much more difficult than the old Krexel? I used to hunt old Krexel all the time for exp and mesos, but I'm not sure if I can solo the new one or not.

I do approx 200k per line which is like 1.2mill per hit, and it takes me abouit 20 min or so to kill both sides.

Potion money, 7.5m? Wut. 80% HP/MP for 12k ea? I buy ginger ales for 75% HP/MP for like 3.8k ea? And I use a potion pot o.O I dun spend but like 1m a day on pots.
