3rd job salvo vs 4th job ap salvo pre and post nerf

So i started looking at the 3rd job 1v1 boss move salvo, vs 4th job move ap salvo. You would think the 4th job one would blow the 3rd job one out of the water. Im beginning to think the 3rd job skill is better now without the nerf and even better after nerf.

The stats on the two skills are:
Before nerf:
3rd job: massive fire IRON: current damage 300% 6 lines ( i stop watched 10 attacks with green potion, decent si and booster around 4.75 secs depending on reflex to press)
4th job: massive fire IRON B: current damage 350% 7 lines ( same test as above, clocked around 5.05 secs per 10 attacks in succession.)

4th job has a hyper that increases the damage by 20% as well as 1 line hyper. Even with this the speed of the 3rd job skill makes up for some of the difference in damage and lines.

After nerf:
3rd job: massive fire Iron: 300%>250% 6 Lines remain
4th job: massive fire Iron B: 305>285 7 lines minus one line from nerf=6 lines. ( but it has the hyper as well as explosive damage of 400%>350% that only applies on a monster that survives the hit.

What i want to know is. Is the 3rd job skill a better skill to use. Less delay allows you to use the homing beacon more as well. And once you are capping the %'s are not important but the actual speed of the skill.

I am no expert on this and i simply used a regular stop watch on my phone and timed it myself any better tests would be appreciated. Would 3rd job skill be a good replacement? Thank you.

massive fire iron is 720ms. With 6 lines, 120ms per line
Iron B is 780ms. 7 lines with hyper. 111ms~ per line
But you get explosion damage line from IRON B. 8 lines. 97.5ms per line.

Difference is really negligible for homing missiles casting since its only between 780ms and 720ms.
Stick to IRON B
