You clearly haven't seen Death Note. It's probably the most mature and intelligent storyline I've seen from an anime, so I'd definitely check that out.
And if you're mature enough, Game of Thrones is seriously one of the most intense series I've ever seen. It doesn't just entertain, but it actually provides an experience and each episode is like a movie. They spend like 6 million dollars to create each episode and it's totally worth it.

I like the Tv show Supernatural. Going on its 10th season this fall.

BMS (Blue Mountain State) is the best show out there if u love football and parties.

Blue Mountain State if you have Netflix. I thought that show was pretty funny.

Watch Park And Recreation

Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are 2 must watch shows o.o

Watch Shameless ( I much prefer the US version as the characters a lot better looking, and the humor is more relatable)
I have gotten so many of my friends hooked on that show.
