The black cubes function like memory cubes. When you use it, a window will appear showing the potential you had before the cube, and after the cube.
Then you pick which one you want to use. You either reset all lines, or keep exactly what you had before.

i would only use the black cubes if i only had enough nx for one cube. other wise red cube till almost no more nx

Of course you would. It's just a super cube (now RED cube) with added insurance. That's why you're paying 1$ more per cube.

You use it after getting a good pot you can't afford to lose yet are willing to upgrade if chance allows it.

Red are like the all time generic master race cube right now.

Blacks just let you keep the old pot if you liked it.

Black cubes allow you to see the potential before choosing that the potential you get is what you get

for those who don't understand

Scenario: potting and item

lets say you have a legendary item with 9% all stat and crap like accuracy or avoid

when you use the Black cube it will show you what it will go to then allow you to change what it goes to before changing the pot.

so you technically can get that glorious 27% all stat item you've been waiting for with the Black Cube

The Red cube is just a normal miracle cube

The bold said it all... which mean you get to keep old one... it could be one of the one you want to keep and reset the 2nd line or reset the 3rd line.

You use black cubes to completely perfect an equip.

Let's say you have two lines of 30% boss on a weapon, but you want to cube for better stats but are afraid to lose your potential at the same time in case nothing good results from your cubing.

So you use black cubes to protect your stats from changing in case the next reveal would give you something worse. That way ten cubes later if you decide to be done you still have your 60% boss.

What are the chances they're going to spring another double miracle time on us again? I'm trying to decide whether to buy now or wait.

we wont know until theyre tested and it may seem better at first since they been released after the useless potentials have been removed

Nooooooooo >.< Ok, so if you use a black cube, you have to either reset all or none of the lines, right? Stupid question, but wanna make sure.

Only Red and Black exist now. And if you're gonna buy either, get the 12 pack with the stamp included, it's cheaper than just buying the 11 packs.
