Started playing maple again. Quit right big bang

So I just got back into maple again and I quite just after big bang came out. I'm starting a new night lord again and just need to know if job quests/any specific quests are even worth doing? Cause it seems you level up extremely fast without quests anyways. Any help regarding new important stuff would be sweet too. Thanks

Well welcome back from a long hiatus. A lot has change my friend. First off, there's mini theme dungeons at earlier levels you can do for exp they are pretty much a series of quests, you can start the major ones from your class trainer. But for the most part you're gonna wanna grind. But don't worry it dosent take as long as it did back pre-big bang. You can get to level 80 from level 1 in day or even higher. Another thing is your secondary stat dosent exist anymore. So remember when it was considered really elite to go dexless as a assassin? And your damage was totally better then everyone else's? Well scrap that because everyone is dexless now sucka. But don't worry with a little funding you can be a part of that elite group of players once again man. Anyway. There's a whole list of new items and item sets that make your stats and your damage trully awesome. And they added The potential system a few years ago, and honestly it's game breaking if you know what your doing. I suggest you look up how it works because honestly I don't think I can teach you it all in one post. Anyway bud. For now you are gonna wanna know where to train I'll link a decent guide I used for the new update. A lot of the good training maps from your time don't exist anymore. And they are always changing. This guide is somewhat up to date. If you don't know where some of the monster locations are don't be a afraid to google it. I wish I could help you more but there's so much to fill you in with if be here for a few hours. Anyway good luck man, it's good to see people from classic maple coming back.

Character cards will help you be a lot less squishy. As well as the Kaiser link skill and the Cannon shooter link skill.
Do the Zak quest because you can fight beginner zak and get decent exp as well as a zhelm with pot. And HT later on because you don't need a lot of pre quest junk now.
Do Ghost Ship quest to get a nice badge that you use for potential. Do your adventurer quest to get a nice medal.

Also complete Comerci quest and Gollux quest to help you start merching. Root Abyss is also another good quest to do and Evo lab.
You'll want to go to Monster Park Extreme to fight the boss and hope that green and red pots drop. Green pots boost attack speed while red pots boost your attack.

Gl bro!

This game is not beginner friendly just to let you know so.. gl
Important things to know is : Making link skill chars can help u alot , what equips you use don't really matter until late game (As a NL maybe it will because you have lower hp and need more avoid and w/e), Lv200 or bust! focus on getting 200 should be a priority i think before you try to increase your range. and...find a nice guild cuz thats all i got atm
