Yeah, I did it
They will be, I switched to a Bucc from corsair being a UA and back for fun and I still had the sharkwave skill on the bucc.
I'm not a UA but I did the lunar dew quest and have shark wave. I've switched from Corsair to Bucc to Corsair to Cannoneer to Corsair and I still have my sharkwave.
