We need to Stand Up for ourselves as Gamers
I have voiced myself on the current issue in Khaini... Botting and Hacking is against our gaming way of life. It has been a long time since I was really that active on Basilmarket but I still have some faith in how players can fight for a clean and fair game. I know it seems like a longshot and pretty hopeless due to P2W and botting issues, but I still have hope that we can actually do something about these issues.
Nexon will only listen if we push these issues together, nothing can ever be accomplished with just letting it slide or sitting in the chair doing nothing. Sit in that chair with cookies and milk, or ramen noodles and write onto the forums I mention in this thread and voice yourselves about it instead! Vote with the polls if you don't feel you can muster a confident voice!
I have taken the opportunity to pretty much put all of my years of hard work and legit training at risk of being destroyed by voicing myself (I know it really doesn't matter what happens to me), but I care for the community, what we have left and what we can gain back if we all contribute to the cause of ridding our server of script kiddies with personalities, even if it is one at a time.
I am pretty sure by now many of us are fed up with it... Don't want to play the game because of it or feel "whats the point now?" I ask of all of you to seriously consider what I and many others have to say about the issue on the forums;

I know it is difficult, but unless more people come forward and talk about it as a community, Nexon will let it happen. I do NOT ask for a boycott of any kind, as it is unhealthy for the game, I ask for those to voice themselves and speak out for those who can't, for those who have been victims of hacking, bullying and other unsportsmanlike conduct (cheating).
Nothing will happen if we just let it go, we need to actually do our part now and fight for legit players, those who work hard and don't abuse the ToS or game exploits and just want to have fun... Its a game for goodness sakes and we should take it back from those players and make it fun again!

I know I will probably start getting hacked as I say this but I don't care anymore, its worth voicing myself over a supposed tyrant in our server;
It is really hard to watch someone getting away with bullying and cheating in the game while blatantly lying through their teeth acting as an innocent (more evidence down below and I checked already for validity in creative software, has not been tampered with, I suggest Nexon to do an actual check instead of lazily and submissively ignoring it as fake).
Recommending things that have already been done and saying we need to clean up this server of cheaters is also a hypocrisy in itself. The players who have committed wrong doing do not need to "admit" to their cheating either as the behavior they exhibit through talking in game and through their actions with other players is more than enough to question them and consider a review on the player in question; Simple unsportsmanlike manner is a clear sign of a sociopath, and a cheater.
The economy also isn't the only issue and is actually unrelated to what Bhav was even talking about... It is being dc hacked and dc hacking those who are affiliated with said victim. It is a serious issue in the server of Khaini right now and if nothing is done, it will serve as a very bad precedence to the other servers and the rest of the players in Khaini. It will look very bad on Nexon too, and they should treat this issue with care to preserve the trust and hope for a better maple.
Nexon Employees and volunteers should seriously consider why this issue is being brought up with untampered hardcore evidence. If it is not even being reviewed or considered a concern for the health of the game and integrity of its players then Nexon is not doing a very good job and they will in fact lose players regardless of how much content they continue to spew out at us. Khaini is already a dead server and it will get worse if nothing is done about this issue.
This issue in Khaini has pretty much been about you, Ying, I have been hearing a lot of things about your guild, Lift. People who left your guild have told me of your exploits and thirst for power. A lot of these characters have also been banned due to Bhavs efforts of proving that they hacked/botted, I even saw the images and videos on basilmarket (which is pretty much clear evidence of what I have imposed about what makes a cheater or bully a cheater and/or bully):

Bhav has not been known to "fake" his videos or make them to falsely alienate or harass players in the game and should be taken seriously by Nexon employees or GMs due to the subject content. If Nexon reviewed and banned those other players why cant they at least review you? You shouldn't have anything to hide right?
Don't act as if you are innocent just yet and trying to reflect on the heartstrings of players by saying what you said earlier in the thread, its disgusting and despicable; Many of us already know for it to be lies. You are currently being questioned for the crimes (yes, you are being questioned of going against ToU and it is illegal to do so in this game), not saying anything on this thread is probably recommended for someone in your current position.
Most people who will know you in Khaini would feel the same, and for whoever is left they should voice themselves because this kind of conduct is what REALLY shouldn't be in this game, those who work for their success and progress in this game shouldn't have to live each day feeling threatened by cheaters. We all lose interest in the game because players like you get away with doing stuff like this and smugly dismiss it as entertainment.
I have had enough and so should the rest of you who still have pride and care in what you play in this game and how you properly spend your free time. I don't care about rankings, I don't care about fame, unlike you I care about the players, about the archer community and the dignity and respect of all the Khainians we have left.
It is rather unfortunate that all of this has happened, things could have been different if you weren't so smug and arrogant. I know you will hack me, defame me or even create mules with my IGN to hack people soon after you read this or sometime after, but I said what I wanted to say and for the sake of my own conscience and to voice out for those who cant or feel they cant do so in fear of also getting hacked or alienated by you or your affiliates.
If volunteers and moderators have any respect for our rights as gamers and customers of Nexon they will not block or delete this post either; This is important for people to read and those who have enough self-respect would understand what my current plight/ (I guess a rant) entails.
I have no regrets. Happy Mapling everyone.

Nexon cares BECAUSE you are their income. But there's a fine line between words and actions.
The people at Nexon doesn't play MapleStory themselves, thus the least amount of work for the buck is what everyone wants.
Not enough people voice up issues, so its harder for Nexon to hear it.
Consider it a government, the masses yield more power than they think, but its only strong if combined. But there's the catch, there's only a small fraction on basil compared to who plays MS. Most of the people who pay BIG buck to Nexon for their NX and play everyday are not among the ones here on basil.
The ones here on basil are the ones who quit or "stopped" buying, an ever bigger reason not to listen to you guys, as the income is still playing their game.
Nexon will only act on its own when it notices the game going down, and Nexon probably has a better statistic over its own game than you do , and they still make millions off of it.

Secondly, Dom was sitting up on his high horse, trying to call people out on Breaking ToS. As if he or anyone he associates with is completely clean. The other two bans were due to a lot of issues going on with the automated banning system Nexon tried to implement before... Before and after the introduction of Black Cipher. For those who remember, it killed the game A LOT. It would randomly ban players making them unable to log in or do anything. Some people were even hell banned. I just happened to be one of those victims.
Last summer it happened the 3rd time. Good job, you found my name, you will find a lot of others who were wrongfully banned along with those who weren't. Not a very reliable source to prove I am a bad example for the community... For goodness sakes I am trying to actually help the community while many of you prefer to support those killing the game.
Keep in mind that just because I was wrongfully banned, it does not make me an illegitimate player. If you really know me like you say you do, then you would have already known this and wouldn't have attacked me for it. I am not a hypocrite in terms of being illegitimate and I have people who can back me up. I suggest doing some research before you accuse people blindly like that.

I am with you on this and I do believe massive change is possible, because as my time as a player in this community, I've seen it. Remember how bad things were with LHC? Remember the people who took advantage of hackers and glitches back then, the mass bannings, the mass whining, but how greatly the quality of the community did improve when the people who thought they were naturally entitled to spit on the rules and look down on the large majority of us were booted or decided to make a statement about how much Nexon doesn't care, and were made to look the fools they were? People always will whine and complain. But let them. This is a battle in a great war. They're not the people who will matter IN this fight, though it's also FOR them, if they're only willing to give a show of feeble-hearted cowardice at present, and the ones who take front line in the name of others will have to lead by example and show other people that stooping down in times of oppression is a behavior they really are so far above... This is a war poised against our faith in each other as people. We stand together or fall divided.
You know why these challenges and oppositions exists?
For us to show the world who we are and overcome them in times of hopelessness. The people who stood in similar way are not and were not alone no matter how it may seem. the main issue with your argument is that not everyone cares about hackers. in fact, their activities lower prices of farmable goods in the market, helping the community in general, making the p2w aspect easier to handle.
I dont support hacking. I simply know it isnt a main issue to enforce even more in the game. youre wasting your time

The Maplestory community has been voicing their opinion's for years. Nexon doesnt care about the players, only the money they receive. A perfect example would be the "A better Maple" survey that they released saying that they wanted our input on whats wrong with the game. Did they bother to fix any of the issues they we had voiced out? Nope.
If you believe it will never happen then it wont... If you don't put effort into it, then it wont. That is how it works, that is how the community is currently and has been in the past, but I believe all of you are more than that and CAN make a change, unfortunately it relies on everyone else to put forth the same effort. I already understand that it seems hopeless and that the dream even seems fruitless, but I am not giving up on it because I actually hope for a better maple and want to work towards that. Call me ignorant, so be it, I am ignorant or even stubborn, but at least I am positive about it and haven't given up, and only that kind of willpower will be able to introduce change. I know most of you want that change, to play a game worth the time. The only reason the game became P2W was because people asked for it. Many of you who were playing a while ago would know this to be true and unfortunately as with what all corporations do when they find a good way to make money, they saw those "needs" of ours as profitable.
Perhaps if they can see how banning foolish players cheating in the game as being profitable (which it is), then we could see such a change.

Nice attempt, but when will you people learn that nothing will happen? How many years have this game been in existence and how many times have stuff like this been ignored? It's good that you're taking a stand and all but no one will follow you. You should know how the maple community runs already, a bunch of self absorbed and mindless group of people that run around in game repeating the same stuff over and over for all of eternity. If you're going to do this yourself then I hope you do well, but if you're going to rely on the community then you're out of luck. Need proof? In almost every single thread here on basil there is ALWAYS at least one troll.
That was very long soo I didn't bother reading most of it, but personally for me I would rather them utilize more resources
to prevent the botters or at least mitigate the damage they are causing then harassment/scamming/afk botting which are
bad but aren't as game breaking as the botters. What surprises me the most is the fact that they say they want everyone
to have a great gaming experience and they have prevented the release some content because of some sort of bug but
they haven't at least addressed elite bosses yet. The p2w issue is an issue harder to fix than the botting because of how
ingrained it is currently. One step at a time I guess..
