Unable to install maplestory

I have been trying to install maple for the last couple days with no success, and i believe the problem lies in the "MSSetupv149.exe" file (the installer itself).

All of my attempted downloads have been fairly consistent. I get 5 files. "MSSetupv149.exe", "MSSetupv149.z01", "MSSetupv149.z02", "MSSetupv149.z03", and "MSSetupv149.z04". Running the EXE however fails to fully install the game, and after checking the install logs i found out why.

For some reason whenever the EXE is run, it ONLY attempts to install "MSSetupv149.z04", completely ignoring the first three files.I have confirmed that the installer does indeed check for all 4 files before it begins to install, and refused to start if any are missing, however after only checking if they are there it completely ignores them.

I was told it might be a problem with the browser i am using to download them, however i used the maplestory downloader. I downloaded using that multiple times, having gotten the downloader itself from both firefox and chrome, as well as manually downloading all 5 files (EXE, z01, z02, z03, z04) from both firefox and chrome. I also made sure to fully delete and uninstall all maplestory files before and between every attempt so that there were no conflicting files.

Every single attempt however has met with the same result, the EXE only opens the .z04 file, which leaves me with less than 25% of the game, and unable to play.

Does anyone know how to fix this, or know a workaround? Thank you in advance.
