New Showdown skill

So unfortunately, it does not seem like the new taunt, or Showdown, gives the exp buff if you kill the monster with the move. Since you dont get the exp, we can assume you dont get the %drop either. I noticed this with the old taunt, but it wasnt that big of a deal since it didnt do that much dmg. Now, however, you cant use this to hunt for anything on normal mobs, or even get improved exp unless you killing monsters with millions of hp. Well, at least it gives 1.2x drop and exp from bosses (if you get the hyper).

@JKthree: The effect is definitely halved. I got 15% instead of 30% on Krexel, GB, Hilla, basically my daily three bosses.

It's also on the Korean readout for the kMS descriptions on Southperry, so they didn't nerf it here. It just seems like NL's are non-existent in kMS to confirm such things.

@DolphinFan7: Yes, but if you kill the monster with the showdown skill, upon the first cast, it doesnt increase exp and drop.

When you hit an enemy with showdown a little scroll pops up on top of the mobs head, thats when you know the increased exp and drop is applied.

Oh... That's good to know then.

@above is right. You need to hit the enemy first without killing it for the effect to work

No, post-RED Taunt has always been like this even in kMS too. You need the first hit to apply the effect (EXP/Drop Rate Increase), unlike Demon Cry applying the EXP/Drop Rate Increase when you can ohko an enemy.

Yea I noticed that too. Just send in a ticket and make a thread on the official forums.
