The reason of making night lords instead of say kaiser to empress is to make more meso, but I don't have a str set or anything, just my luk stuff, and investing in another set wouldn't be worth the money spent.

There aren't any night lord specific changes when unlimited comes out, but I was referring to the damage cap lifts. The other thief class 1v1s aren't as good as quad throw (When a lot of the benefits to having a damage cap lift comes from having skills with higher damage %). Quad throw is seemingly only rivald 1v1 dps wise by phantoms.

It's really not possible for NLs without vampire unless you're using a potion pot.

@paying Thanks for sharing that info with all of us NL. I still can't fully understand why you'd make multiple NL to do V2's on D= I swear it'd be better to just have a kaiser or DB even tho post unlimited you say NL become incredible xD But anywho good luck
Where can I get info on NL's post unlimited? I keep up with orangemushblog almost on a day to day basis and I didn't see it there so...? Also, I think I might try V2 myself! I have 100% boss 100% pdr and 140k range so we'll see how I do. Although last time I tried to duo with another NL we died because we didn't have vampire D= I don't get how it's possible without vampire for NL's Oh well, Good thread and Good luck to us all haha

@Dogs: V1/V2 are not bosses. My question that proxied was answering was if the only point of hte %boss is to bring empress down to half, which he replied yes to.

How come with 100% PDR, I dont hit cap on V1's/V2's, but I can cap on empress herself? Are you sure they count as bosses?

Mihile Dr hits like 19-20k-ish I believe since i tank it with my 21k hp phantom lol Weird I watched some vids of ppl taking 22k's i usually only take 19-20ish xD

Ive solo'd the statues in aobut 25 min, but i can never get close to finishing pb since he has so much higher def.

Multiple reasons.

If you mean this as in why wouldn't I play another thief class, well, you'll see after unlimited that night lords have the potential to be incredible. I would venture to say after the damage cap lift the only thief class that would rival night lord is DB. Not including xenon lol

How do you deal with the summons that Empress spawns after the v1s and before the v2s? With a 228k range, I can't get her to spawn v2s because of the spawns such as shinsoo and the other knights..I go in with a resistance potion. I also have 60 willpower alongside with the passive of enveloping darkness which puts me at 72% resistance. I also have 92% boss damage. When she spawns the knights and her DR is off, it's hard to concentrate on hitting her while killing the knights as well.

@the pb question. With my range, I'm sure I can solo but it's really difficult because of dr timing. I can take down the statues in about 17 mins but as for pb, I have no clue

I'll try to give an adequatee answer. I have multiple night lords that I empress v2 on. This is my current main source of meso.

Night lord 1 is my main. Self explainatory. Enough hp to tank a mihile DR hit with no additions. 100 percent max damage and 6m a second from venom. 50 percent status resistance (passive + lv 100 willpower) time taken ranges from 15-20 minutes depending on how fast v1s spawn. If I use a resistance potion I have empress at half health by the third v1.

Night lord 2. An alernate night lord I leveled up purely to empress. Has 200k range and 70% boss damage and 30% pdr. I use dhb, a resistance potion, and a fortitude potion. I also have an A rank invincibility nebulite. This puts me ar 60 percent status resistance and enough hp to tank a mihile hit. It takes me anywhere from 30-50 minutes to kill v2s. I use shade split as my main mobbing attack at v2s. Hit 600-800k a line. The nebulite is ridiculously useful for avoiding statuses and stuff.

Night lord 3. @aestheticlove night lord. 400k range and 95 percent boss damage. 100 percent caps for the skills I use. No alchemy, so only a fortitude potion is used in order to tank mihile dr. I have the hardest time with this one even tho its very strong, status resist is the key to empress. I have to use shuriken burst and stay as far away as possible from v2s or I get pounded with statuses. In this scenario, it is faster for me to use shuriken burst due to the lack of status effects from being distanced.

These examples should show a general idea of what it takes(and time required) to clear v2s in different scenarios. Hope it helps!

based on the information I have typed up it would lead me to guess its possible with around 150k range, a decent amount of pdr/boss damage, and 80 percent status resistance (100 willpower + passive + resistance pot)

P.s. I use a potion pot on all 3 to infinitely heal. If you don't use one, you will more than likely need vampire. Night lords lack in the avoidability department.
