I believe a Kaiser using advanced tempest blades with wingbeat and gigas wave in between is the fastest DPS. Of course, blades loses its effectiveness with a boss with more places it can be hit (or more mobs spawning apart from just the boss), and wingbeat isn't always usable depending on the situation (or glitchy). I assume Joetang wanted to simplify the calculation.

A Kaiser hitting cap per hit with wingbeat is dealing out a lot of damage. I dunno if it's comparable to Marksman once you consider the many lines gigas hits with wingbeat.

It's probably ultimate adventurer corsairs. They get the Lightning summon + Crew + Octo Turret.

@ltachifire: It might be higher as the mesos cap was raised from 2.147b to 10b. Who knows.

Yes but there is a hard limit set at 15 lines. And it's never possible to cap with shadow partner or mirror image.

Probably Shadowers, especially if you can hit cap (100m with 5 stacks of Flip the Coin) with Midnight Carnival.

If a Bowmaster caps with it's turrent, and it's split hurricane (50m on both lines instead of 25/25) i'm sure they are the fastest cap class.

There was this one range class that soloed Dorothy by having this skill that sets down a firing ballista that rapid-fires damage... If it all hits cap then surely that would be #1? Kaisers can hit 10 times, 11 hits transformed, but dual blades can hit more right?

Mihile is 6 lines per attack w/ radiant blast, right?

To be honest, Aran is probably even worse, at least mihiles hit consistent lines.
