Longer than 4 years for sure because I have had the medal on my second ever created Basil account ( this is my third account as I can't even remember the password or email for the prior ones). I was looking around this site for a bit before joining when I heard about it in game

This account has been around for 4 1/2 years. I lost the info for my first account which was made ~5 1/2 years ago.

EDIT: i got my 48 month medal in July 2 2010 (when medals came out) so it is at least 48 months
