Psycho-Pass 2
I feel like this deserves a new thread after episode 4.
So whaddya think the author's gunning for thematically with Kamui? I don't really understand the need to insert the "What Color?" bit since it doesn't really tie into the plot anywhere...
Also, NoitaminA is an amazing programming block, none of episode 4 was censored holy cow.

Man, would really love to see Kogami back! I really miss him! D:
But this is different. The main plot has already been established and the show is only 11 episodes.
So I guess it's being rushed. They don't have time for character arcs this time, sadly. Budget issues or this season's author being lazy, who knows.
Well, it's 5 episodes in, so...
@Dauntaro: I remember that they mentioned society, I didn't recall the Sibyl system in the discussion. But I was tired, so that's my excuse =P
But yeah, you're right. It doesn't influence anything, at least not at the moment. I don't dislike its presence though.
I figured it was talking hues as well... but was about a much larger scale. Perhaps society as a whole. Or maybe even the Sibyl system itself.
Yeah, that's kind of exactly what they said out loud in those words.
But what I meant by tying into the plot - What Color? doesn't really, like, influence anything. It doesn't even explain the guy's motives except in the most abstract of ways. The whole motif is just... there. I really don't see the need for it, although it does help with identifying Kamui's M.O.

I thought the What Coor was referecing the Hues
I'm guessing that the "what color am I?" aspect would be implemented/made more clear as the story goes on. To be honest, there's so much going on and countless unanswered questions to be dealt with, but it makes me excited for each Thursday.
This season's not really expanding on the thematic stuff from the first one, unless I'm missing something big here. We'll probably get to see justice bi.tch get messed up in the future and we get lots of explosions, so I'm still okay with this. It's a pretty solid crime-thriller show.
