Yes, there was a JMS event for Madoka. The JMS event for SAO followed Madoka, which followed K-ON!, which followed Shonen Jump.

Japan had a PMMM event with the school outfits, clothes and hats but we got the crappy SAO event... I'm not a SAO fan to me it was a really boring anime.
