A hard time picking.
Ugh. For the past days, I've been thinking what class I should make. After playing all thief classes and getting them to 200, I'm certain I want to play a mage class.
However.. I just cannot decide between BaM and Evan. I like both play styles so I'll make my final decision based on the required funding to be decent. Considering I've sold most of my %Luk for $ I do not have much left. 10-15b at the most. Also I do already have a elemantal staff 7? I think, the blue one, which is 37 int 253 magic attack with 30% boss and 15% ignore- 6%int which I plan on using IF I decide to make a BaM. If not, I'll most likely sell it and trade it for an empress staff/ fire element staff.
Now my question for you guys, which class would have a better outcome damage wise with the amount of funding I have. I did see @Skyenets video regarding the damage ranges which helps out quite some, I'm just clueless for Battle mages and the funding needed to do well. In the end I want to at least be able to decently boss/ grind without having to rely on others just like I had with my thieves.
Any input is greatly appreciated before I make my final choice. For the heck of it I added a poll, vote for whichever class you find more fun.

15b should net you more than enough to hit cap with Evan.
As for BaMs, you should ask @j1mm13valadez for how much he spend on his. He's hitting cap on pretty much anything, thus making it better than an Evan.
I have no idea how much my gear is worth, but with about 177% int, a 270 matk staff, 400-450 or so total matk, 50% boss, 100% pdr, i'm close to capping on regular bosses with body boost (not using Battle rage, cept for 1v1 mobs, but that should help as well). My regular hits are about 400-500K, 600-700K on body boost on regular mobs.
