That's only specific maps, the newer ones. The maps that are usually trained at today will stay the same, except most people will be slightly stronger.

Worst case scenario, you fail a bunch of scrolls on your equips, but now it's cheaper to enhance regular gear.

OT: I kind of doubt that this is coming to Amer-er,GMS anytime soon,but who knows? If the outcry is anything like with soul weapons,we have a slight chance of getting it.

If people didn't spend any money on Maplestory, the game would die and everyone would be screwed, poor or funded. What have the poor done to feel entitled to the benefits of upholding the game? I haven't spent that much money on this game, and I'm not as strong as people like Mazz on YouTube. That's the way it is. It's like asking why people who work have more than those who don't (bad example, since there are many outliers, but I'm too lazy to come up with a better one).

Your "ranking of strength" is, what I'm going to presume, how strong you are relatively to other players. That only matters if you compare yourself to other people. If you look at the raw damage creep, updates like these make unfunded players stronger than they were before. Compare an unfunded character from 2013 to 2014. People today are stronger than ever, and that is what allows the unfunded to access higher level content they weren't able to experience before. This is a good thing because the more content that is accessible to most people, the more interesting the game is.

the enhancement fee is crazy. i'm pretty sure just buying equip enhancements would be cheaper....

Too many people spend thousands of dollars on this game to let it die. It's Nexon's cash cow. While the player population won't grow as much, this game is by far the most money consuming of any I've played. If they need to save money, they can just shut down their other games and even other Maplestory versions besides KMS and GMS.

Maybe Maplestory is going bankrupt and they are going to shut it down and this is going out with a bang.

Why should the poor and the funded be equally strong? What's the point of funding and supporting the game then? Of course the range will differ, they're putting actual money into the game. While it would increase the difference between the poor and the funded, at least people like me who aren't as funded can enhance our equips more easily. People would be happier if they didn't compare what they have to what other's have and settled with what they did have.

Overall, this update will help everyone, regardless of their funding (except those who merch enhanced tyrant gear, which I think are bound to deflate).

Im
not talking about making poor players as good as rich players. It would give poor players access to more of the high Lv content. We wouldn't be excluded. Of course we won't be as powerful as rich players. That's just how it is

@dave2322: Err sorry, I meant the Korean higher-ups that work for Nexon America decide to exclude beneficial content to poor players. The rest of the company doesn't have a say, but then again I guess that's how any company works.

Yea but like a previous poster said. Korea came out with additional options and America left it out. Korea makes the updates but America has the right to exclude content

Look at the chart 11 stars until there is even a chance for the item to be destroyed and even then it is minute until like 15 stars
