This is mainly geared towards those 21+ but what do you think the future of cannabis will be with Obama saying this.

If you weren't being serious, the proper word would be that you were being facetious. You didn't satirize anything lol
All the states that fail to legalize weed will weep as worker productivity massively rises with the newfound popularity of the drug, criminals that previously depended and relied on their drug connections in the black market have been enlightened by Colorado's new law and all found legal jobs in the burgeoning new industry instead of turning to other crimes to make a living and watch in awe as things like recessions and depressions become non-existent in this new utopia fueled by the miracle plant. In fact, the day Colorado legalized weed, an Eagle called "Personal Freedoms" descended upon the legislature and dropped a single tear over the new law while Thomas "Hemp" Jefferson appeared behind it, smoking the initial draft of the Declaration of Independence made of hemp he himself had grown and congratulated the state for seeing the light and upholding the traditions of the U.S.

He's only speaking the truth. Both of those drugs do affect you. They should all be legal or all be illegal. I wouldn't mind either option.
Keeping uncontrolled substances illegal just promotes organized crime. That being said, having the government make substances legal, taxed and controlled will generate revenue for everyone other than the criminals.

Making these drugs legal too will give police more time to deal with the real crimes and not waste money busting a recreational pot smoker.
Think of all the wasted money and the real criminals getting away.

POT SMOKERS ARE NOT CRIMINALS. WE JUST WANNA SMOKE IN PEACE LOL!

Second term president, can't get much higher than that

It's not about Obama having balls to say that because he knows the "war on drugs" is bs. Just think about all the pot smokers (me included) who are still buying from the black market. Organized crime and banks have profited too much money and many more lives have been ruined because of the "war on drugs".

It's a sad day when the USA seems more progressive than Australia.

I think in the very near future we'll see cannabis become legal but only in states outside of the bible belt.

Yeah. Honestly though, I do not see too much change yet until the government and the people see how much tax money cannabis can generate. Hopefully too, there will be more cannabis with CBD's over THC. That's why I'm so excited for legalization because all pot you buy from the black market is grown for recreational purposes meaning higher levels of THC.
