Im at a crossroads in my life
I am a 20 year old with 3 options on what to do with my life.
1. Stay in my current city while I wait on my wait list for my program (it's a 2 year wait). While I do this, I will be also getting a job at the hospital as a porter. Once I get off the wait list, my program will secure me a job (which is also at the hospital).
2. Move to the Northwest Territories (Yellowknife) and get a job at a liquor store making $25/h plus an extra $2000 from the Canadian government. I believe that is called northern allowance.
3. Move to Washington state and go to school there to get into a program that is not offered in Canada. I am also a USA citizen with a social security number so moving there won't be a problem. The best part about this is that I will be in Washington, where cannabis is legal!

Honestly this is the easiest path.
I remember when I was basiling professionally, the money was amazing, the work was great. My body is just too worn out now to deal with that lifestyle, but you son, you can basil with the best.

Really....barely anyone suggests college.
No wonder everything is going downhill.
It's cold in Yellow Knife, but honestly, I'd do it if I didn't have friends to give up here, 25/h is ballin. I might actually do that when I graduate college, and do web dev for fun on the side or something for a couple years.
25/h really isn't that amazing. It also really depends on the cost of living.

Id go with moving up north, sounds like an interesting experience!
Alberta?
If you can afford it, go with 3. Otherwise, 2.
#2 is only a good choice if you want to mess around and make bad life decisions. You'll have tons of fun but lots of regret to go with it after you grow up, so think wisely on whether or not you want to be that 30 year old that's way behind in his life goals but has some killer stories to share.
In all honesty, choice one sounds like the most responsible way to get your life started and allows you time to focus on developing some other skill but #3 wouldn't be too bad provided that program would potentially lead to higher earnings but the emphasis on weed makes me suspect that that's not the appeal behind it.
I didn't add what my program is for option 3. It's called surgical technician. The program doesn't exist in Canada so that would be my reason in going to the states in the first place. It is also a hospital job. It will also secure me a job once I'm finished the program too. And to be honest, my parents are pushing me in the direction of being a surgical technician.

Whatever you do.. don't do 2. Getting a job in a liquor store is horrible. Trust me, do #1

Because I can't go to sleep right now and I got nothing better to do
2 sounds pretty exciting

1 or 3. Depending on if you see yourself having a career in the hospital program or the Washington program.
2. booze and women. wrestle a bear.
