Suggest me manga to read

Hi, please suggest me some manga to read.
Some manga that i've read that I enjoyed: Slam Dunk, Real, Oyasumi Punpun, Aku No Hana, Koe no Katachi, Girls of the wild, Piano no Mori, My Heart is Beating,
So pretty much all sorts of genres, as long as you consider them good
No recommendations for mainstream manga please, such as Beelzebub and One Piece.
Thanks in advance

Bakuman is great. So is Hikaru no Go.

That's a pretty good idea, consider it done. (Y)
Hmm a lot of good manga's I was going to suggest have already be suggested, still I'll try to add some more. (sorry if I accidentally suggest one that has already been suggested.)

Vagabond [ongoing, seinen, action, historical] (the fictionalized tale of a famous japanese swordsman; extremely recommended to those who enjoy seinen manga and realistic fighting)

Holyland [completed, seinen, action] (a fighting manga about a boy who didn't really fit in and learned to defend himself; gets pretty badass later on)

Ajin [ongoing, seinen, action] (there are people who are immortal called "Ajin" and they can summon this "monster" to fight for them. The government captures them for experimentation)

Apocalypse no Toride [ongoing, shounen, horror, phycological] (a zombie manga that has a pretty original twist the appears later on)

Destroy and Revolution [ongoing, seinen, action, phycological] (kind of a manga about esp except the power is more omnipotent; the mc along with some other people use it as terrorists to start a change)

Feng Shen Ji [ongoing, seinen, action, fantasy] (a human vs gods sort of setting; every chapter is full colour and the art is very nice)

I am a Hero [ongoing, seinen, horror, action] (a really realistic zombie manga; be warned the first 6-7 chapters are very weird/ boring)

Nobunaga no Chef [ongoing, seinen, historical] (similar to Jin; a modern day chef gets brought back to the warring states of Japan)

Kamisama no Iutoori/ Kamisama no Iutoori Ni [completed/ ongoing, shounen, action, horror, phycological] (two mangas of the same series, a very gore filled manga about how students around the world are forced to play games such as tug of war or jump rope but with a twist, they are all life or death situations, in order to compete to become a god)

Gate - Jietai Kare no Chi nite, Kaku Tatakeri [ongoing, seinen, action] (a gate opens in 21st century Japan and it leads to a fantasy world; soldiers and dragons come out and attack but they are quickly pushed back by the JSDF. The JSDF set up a base in this new world and set out to explore/ set up trade routes/ etc)

Re:Monster [ongoing, action, fantasy] (a man is killed and reincarnated... as a goblin in another world. He has to hunt and fight to level up/ evolve.)

I have a lot more manga/ anime to recommend if you still want more; just send me a pm if these ones don't suit your tastes. (I know a lot of these are seinen but if you like shounen or other genres more just include specifications in the pm)
I'm shocked that recommendation threads still aren't considered spam.
Would be nice if you remade the thread so that it's no longer locked and can be updated. I can recommend so many romance mangas that were left out :<

Toradora (anime) [ completed, comedy, romance ] (This one is an anime but it is one of the few romance animes I actually thoroughly enjoyed, the story is rather unique)

My Little Monster (anime) [ completed, comedy, romance ] (Another romance anime that was quite enjoyable, it also has a manga that continues further where the anime left off.)

I have a lot more manga/ anime to recommend if you still want more; just send me a pm if these ones don't suit your tastes. (I know a lot of these are seinen but if you like shounen or other genres more just include specifications in the pm)

You should read Umibe no Onnanoko, it's by the same person that wrote Oyasumi Punpun.

Actually, just read anything of his. I really like his art style.

Haha. It's just that for most mainstream manga, i've already watched or seen some of the anime. I don't think mainstream is bad at all, it's just not what i'm looking for in manga.

Yes I am asspained by these threads, and yes, I am taking the bait.
Why don't you just ignore the thread then.
Because that doesn't discourage the creation of these terrible threads. Don't you think it's rude to have other people spoon-feed you when you're no longer a child? "Here's some stuff I like, go find me other stuff I'll like." Let me do you and others a huge favor right now:

click on it
scroll down to Recommendations

w0w so hard, i mite hav a challenj stroke
i mean, it rly taeks so much moer efort to google then 2 making a new thred

"You didn't have to be so rude about it! I just wanted others' opinions based on what I liked!"
read as: "I want you to spoon-feed me free food from your kitchen, and you're not allowed to talk back while I eat using your silverware that I'm not going to clean afterwards."

monster, homunculus, Umibe no Onnanoko, Boku wa Mari no Naka
for lighter hell's kitchen, GE good ending, and Ansatsu Kyoushi(t)su
for the mainstream part, i know tokyo ghoul is airing as anime and people are hyping it up but you should read the manga, really good psychological and dark themed as well. Does much better than the anime.

It's pretty short, I randomly picked it up when it was on the front page of batoto, but Kamisama ga Uso o Tsuku was enjoyable.
