Lumi vs Nw

Having difficulty deciding which one I should play. Thoughts?
Considering I only have ~25-30b which would be the most efficient character to play? I do plan on bossing but NW are such a sh11t to train lol

What ranges can i expect with this funding?
Thanks

@dbswjddn NW with half the funding will easily surpass lumi, the only positives that lumis have is being able to teleport quickly to safety, also we use MP to take in majority of the damage so survival is usually easy unless with bosses with 1hit KO attacks, at gollux lumi can dodge but I cap spectral light/reflection/ender on gollux & I went with my friend (who's a NW) although he wasn't capping all the time, he caused Gollux's HP to drop drastically, not even during equilibrium could I do that much DPS.

Even without doing the same damage, NW's DPS are just much better overall so it would be easier to boss on one rather than a lumi.

Although I can get under 5mins in dojo if I don't get a laggy run, It is a pain in the A#% to accomplish, what seems like a 5minute run actually turns into a 10-15minute run (worse for those who are weaker) because of cooldowns since we MUST utilize equilibrium in Dojo to get the most DPS possible. This is frankly the part that annoys me the most about Luminous, other classes can zip through dojo and finish quickly, but with luminous you really gotta time when your equilibrium will finish cooling down so you can use it again before the rest stage.(if you're weaker and say it takes a minute or two to kill a boss such as manon) or having to sit in the rest stage for cooldown itself.

@shokbear425 Lumis really have no use for Apocalypse, Morning star is useless unless you want to rush a boss away from you(not like you can rush many bosses nowadays anyway)

Spectral is weaker than reflection but it also holds you down in a spot, so it's not really efficient in bosses like magnus, reflection with MPE pot + SI + Booster is somewhat equal to spectral's speed but spectral is still faster, just weaker.

to be fair, arent any equips hard to find atm in khaini lol its dead empty.. and mage equips are much cheaper
considering nw equips are overpriced af do u still recommend it over lumi? how do lumi handle bossing with such funding

@shokbear425 bruh hes a top player. i have subpar funding...

LUMI! Haven't you seen ZeroByDivide's bossing montage?
And also, NW is the WORST mobber EVER so it has super slow leveling and I HATE STARS!
Oh, and Lumi = spamming reflection, massive light ray, morning star, apocalypse, and ender.

If you don't like NL's gameplay then you most likely wont like NW's either. Its more or less the same kind of gameplay, just night walkers is a lot more sloppier due to having 1-2 clones atking with you at a slight delay. NW's attacking range distance is also a lot shorter than NL's.

So if you don't enjoy NL's gameplay, then try lumi.

I'd say NW, but I'm biased as I mained mine, and my first main was my night lord that I played in the days where the only mobbing move they had was avenger. So Night Walker is a step up from the old Night Lord days for me.

Anyway, it's a great bosser, and honestly if you plan on putting a good amount of funding into it, the mobbing isn't all that bad thanks to the bats. They can also handle gollux quite well because of the bats being able to kill the mobs no matter what phase of the head you're on. No need to jump around the map, just stay on the attack and watch the bats flow down to the mobs. And the Hypers are great too.

The playstyle isn't for everyone though. For the same reason people used to hate (and some still do) Night Lords, people dislike Night Walkers. They simply don't have many attacks and your main attacking skill is basically the same from 10-200 just with another line of damage added each job advance. Which some people find very underwhelming, but if that doesn't bother you, then it's not bad. Also might not be enough of a switch for you if you're tired of Night Lord gameplay.

Efficient with my 25-30b funding?

I hear lumi's are much more advantageous than most classes at gollux due to their range, however require way more funding for a higher range
Whereas NW apparently need much less funding for a higher range.
Although range may not even be relevant I am curious as to which job will be in favor of my funding.
