The reason certain items were missed
Nexon tracked these items through the use of a unique id that is assigned to an item on creation.
They simply deleted every item that had multiples of the same id.
However, world transferring or MTSing reset the ID.
Proof: from my own losses
Deleted:
27 attack 20% luk vss
61 luk 26% luk top
53 luk 23% luk bottom
203 attack 90% boss 6% all stat dagger
Kept:
16 att 16% all stat nose
30 attack 14% luk rac mask
14% luk proxied ring
11% luk gamble ring
202 attack katara
20 attack 33% luk earrings
VSS, top and bot were originally made by windian dupers and moved to other worlds. That's why other worlds didn't get these items deleted.
Also this is why windias 38 attack 21% masks were deleted.
Nose: made in khaini
Katara and mask: scania
Rings and earring: bera
This is also why scania was hit the hardest, they have the most duped items.

This is interesting- it seems that few broans were hit hard by this update, I wonder if it was because there were less dupers... of course, we don't REALLY know if this is true though, although it seems logical.

So I'm assuming the id changes when you scroll it or else they would've wiped ALL vss regardless of scrolling/cubing.

Same explanation as before, a scanian duper could've xferred then duped it more.
I dunno, just trying to find a reason :c
If I'm right though, they have no way of tracking the leftover items as duped.

Well that explains the mask, as it went through mts.
I think the nose could be because someone xferred one to windia and then duped it after it got here.
