I was a dual blader at first never really liked them but i just loved asura for instantaneous kills. Having asura helped me fund my character with minimal spending of actual dollars which was nice, didn't really like it waited for RED to basically change, I always loved my shadower never got bored hard hitters however just somethings bothered me about it not saying i disliked the revamp just in terms of bossing found it a tadd difficult for some odd reason. Recently switched to an NL always was curious finally came to the dark side im enjoying it a lot like i immediately see the funds i put into perspective once i equip whatever i've made. Nor, do i get bored of throwing stars animations are kind of flashy mobbing is pretty good cant complain i train pretty quickly in comparison to when i was a dual blader/shadower. I'm liking it a lot to be honest funny to say the least.
Is there anything I should know about NLs that aren't that obvious that could possibly help me in bossing and stuff I'm still kinda new and noobish.

@obsidianfire yea i had that issue but supposedly using fratility curse reduces dmg however i have about 21k hp as an NL im pretty sure thats pretty good no? on top of that i have level 4 vampire for bosses who have pot CD. I have max defense kind of makes a difference, but id really love to get % luk and hb as a pot but knowning nexon and cubes thats asking for too much =.=
Playing my NL i dont get hit "that" often so its not that big of an issue with me because i would go an empress now i barely even get touched even by pot lock. Whereas when i was a db i would get pot locked like crazy but supposedly they have great avoid? which i found pretty odd and the status res was pretty much identical.
Lack of Defense. I'm honestly to the point now where I value defense over offense because NLs survivability is one of the worst in the game. The only thing we get for defense is our natural avoid and extra 45% avoid chance which we share with Shadowers. Other then that we don't get anything, no evade stat or damage reduction. Which can get really problematic when you've got bosses that don't do percentage based damage. There's certain bosses I just can't do not because I can't hit them hard enough, but becasue if I always get OHKOed. Or I don't get OHKOed, but they hit so fast I can't pot (Comerci bosses, I'm looking at you). Long story short, if an NL gets hit, it's usually dead, but because we only have avoid, but no evade, it's definitely going to get hit.

NL really takes "a good offense is a good defense" to it's extreme, so usually the best way to survive monsters is to OHKO them, which you aren't able to do on bosses. The upshot of this is that I find a lot of other classes boring as I can just sit there and attack and not have to be both attacking and moving/potting at the same time. NL is definitely the most fun class I've played, but it's also one of the most frustrating... and satisfying.
well said, brother of the night

I switched my Zero (lvl 193) JUST because I got bored. I switched my DB actually...Which is funny because when I first made it when it first came out I NEVER liked to play it...but something about it I just love now...I remember when I used to just care about the DPS chart but now I just DON'T care because the economy is so f**ked because of dupers and stuff now that it doesn't even matter, so tbh in my opinion I think you should just go with whatever you think you have the most fun with and not what does the most damage..because the point of a game is to have fun, AmIrite?

Losing your buffs when you die when you go bossing can be annoying at times. Sort of a class-wide issue I guess, but losing buffs like shadow stars/shadow partner were major annoyances for me because those two are so important for this class. If you use buff freezers or don't really die when you boss, this class is great then .
