I went through the same phase as you. I reached lvl 200 two years ago for closure because maple was a leech. THen I had a 1-meso sale. Afterwards, I got my first job, started working out, made gains, and finally broke socially awkward curse. It also helps that maplestory can't be played on macs.

STOP ! Maplestory isn't ruining your life. It's a game and you have a problem. It isn't Maplestory's fault that you don't want to do anything else. You need to learn self control.

I was in ur position..ever since I was I was playing from beta. Til my friend introduced me to League of Legend(LoL). Trust me, I been playing maple for years and I was having so much trouble quitting even though my grades were pretty much As. Playing LoL will be frustrating first, but trust me its more fun, rewarding, and possibly more addicting than maple. But this addiction to LoL is different from maple addiction. Because for me I can quit whenever I want from LoL even though its addicting. (sorry for the contradiction but its true!) I even see some of my friends quitting LoL because of busy life as I see myself quitting time to time with no addiction side effects o.o

uninstall maple

Kick the computer, throw it outside, anything.

Don't stop playing, just study, play a bit, study, play another bit... this way you'll be getting motivated by doing both, like "1 hour of study = 1 hour of maple" and things like that.

Get your ass to the library and stay there until you're tired of studying. The further away you are from your game, the less you'll want to play it.

Character select menu, delete character, click "yes", do this for each character on your account. Congrats, you now have no reason to play.

Dude gain some self control. I used to have the same problem but I ended up finding out that I just like to be doing something while I study or work and for me right now, that is eating sunflower seeds. It keeps me active but not in the way of the work Im doing.

A GM obliged, and he got a 2(i think) day ban.
